Positives:
Kelly/Darling played to their paygrade. Challenge to back it up next week.
Hough looks like he belongs
Despite the quarter time score I thought the first quarter was competitive, looked like we were trying to move the ball quickly and pressure/intensity was generally high.
Fill up on -40.5 free money

Negatives
We're in round 11 and players who should be busting their arse to secure list spots still aren't match fit. Once we ran out of tickets the first quarter intensity disappeared.
We just have far too many passengers. Guys who have 3-5 years experience who play 80% game time and get 6-8 possessions with no real impact on game. Need to build list depth so these guys can play WAFL where they belong. Dogs have guys with similar stat lines but were still around the ball and threatening. I barely saw Waterman, SPS, Duggan. These guys have to be impacting games more and soon.
We got two of the best performances out of our stars and still lost by 100. Hard to see improvements from others at the moment and on the liklihood kelly/darling dont continue these performances it's hard to see the beltings ending.
Some baffling missed kicks. Full time afl players not being able to execute 35m straight kicks with no pressure. We don't train fitness, strength or skills?
Gov.

I’m pretty sure that at age 24 Clark was drafted as insurance, with no expectations he was going to see much AFL time. He wasn’t drafted as a priority inside mid.
Between Clark and West being a midseason draftee I think you're bang on. But I'd rather see them in the middle than Gaff and Shuey. If they were holding up younger players I would understand but they're not. The only conclusion I can draw is Simmo is trying to train them to play a role for when Yeo and Sheed return.

Positive - I didn’t watch the game

Negative - feels bad to keep on not watching the games this year, it just really feels like it serves no purpose at the moment other than to infuriate and depress. The team isn’t even full of kids or top-ups, it’s just become an absolute rabble. It’s like watching an old pet suffer a long drawn out death.

Can’t wait til we’re back to watching a proper rebuilding team again

I could play like most of this team. Miss tackles, follow the opposition in as they lead, point for someone else to do what I should be doing. Stand still when I have a mark or the occasional free kick and then kick it out wide to the wing. Look dumbfounded when it goes wrong. But I would not be laughing with the opposition after I have been flogged for the last 7 weeks.

- West, Clark not being played in the centre. Where's the focus on youth Simmo?
They're not real youth - they're filler.

We still need to play older and bigger bodies in the midfield. I'm hoping Yeo and Sheed can have decent pre-seasons so we can rotate Warlord and maybe Chesser into small bursts in the midfield.

+ Secured most likely Pick #1 MSD. Every draft concensus is Culley is the number 1 choice, lets get this done pie man.

+ Hough did some really nice things, tackles above his weight and has his head on a swivel. Must get games into him

+ T.K & King tried their guts out.

- Greg Clark just can't get a go in the middle despite being an inside midfielder........ hope this is due to tanking

- We still suck.

Imma try and suck it up this season, and put up with what’s going to happen, I don’t care who plays games from now on, except jamieson, every game please.

but I will be pissed off, if Nelson and waterman remain on our list, for next year, Rotham too, sadly.

Oh? Bulldogs only kicked 11 points. Did he take all the kickins as well as another?

Also, They still count as disposals. And they were all effective.

Not saying he's a superstar, just endless shitting on him annoys me

The criticism is warranted.

He set a very high bar with 42 disposals at a high efficiency when he played his first game for us a couple years ago.

Since then he's tracked downhill for the most part.

He usually gives up at least a goal or 2 per game, can't hit targets 30 meters away and regularly makes poor decisions 1 on 1.

He's an experienced 2 club ago player and the fact poor performances are tolerated shows why we are sitting

He's not alone mind you, most of the senior players are shit and it's inexcusable.

Negative - everytime the dogs took a mark one of their players just waltzed up and took the handball receive slicing through our defence because we were stuck on the mark

Everytime we took a mark the bulldogs player retreat to outside 5m and stopped the run past because they could move sideways.

Can't believe 2 seasons later we still don't counter this .
Bingo! This was doing my head in all night

Everyone's performance will track downhill after a 42 possession game.

Positives:
JD - great game from him, back to his best i feel
TK - kept on trying, 9 clearances, where would we be without him and JD?
Shuey - not all that good, but at least his hammies got through, had some flashes of class, that left foot kick to JK was sublime
Gaff wasnt a total waste of space, kicked a goal even, i reckon he plays better in a better team
Harry Edwards i thought looked much better
JJ was ok, but had some silly moments
Clark was ok

Negatives:
Nelson, Duggan.- yuck, cant wait for Cole to come back and hopefully give us something
Our defense in general - way too easy to score against
Gov - hopefully not a long lay-off
Jamo and BW were schooled by Tim English
Clearances were too easy for them
Barrass was not good against Naughton

He only took 4 kick ins tonight
I didn’t say or mean our designated kick-in taker. He’s supposed to be our new Bunga/Jetta i.e get it to him in defence where possible to spot up targets.

Instead he takes his time everytime he takes a mark and slows momentum down and does nothing to open up play. I’ll admit he was somewhat more ambitious with his kicks tonight but my main issue is that he is a defender and can’t defend.

Makes Gaff look like Byron Pickett

Negatives: endless Eagles fans whining about Witherden. Good one on one defender, 21 disposals, all effective, 4 tackles, 3 score involvements.

Yeah a couple of poor defensive efforts but the inside 50s were 37-68, that defensive line got hammered!
Good one on one defender?
What gives you this impression?
He couldn’t handle even Cody Weightman
