Hey guys! Going for the league win and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm fairly happy with my team but currently have $10,200 in the bank so was hoping for some advice. Thanks!!!

Mids: Pendlebury, Selwood, Montagna, Kennedy, Foley, Swallow (Hibberd, Harris, I. Smith)

[Better Loosen Up]

Lots of uniques, dont know it will work for you. Too weak in the backline - carazzo, shaw wont give you consistent scores, suban weak, ottens now used as sub probably, gilbert looks to have changed role. Goddard wasted in the midfield, gibbs/deledio in the backs? Zaharakis is ok, but probably better players you could have. no Swan? must be your first pick! McIntosh injured, Fraser bye first round...is this a serious team?



My team. Just had to change Otten, dont have enough money to upgrade him to anyone so am going with 3 starting rookies on the field round 1 at this point. bit nervous about that, so unless there's better suggestions? would love to hear them!

Obviously round 1 i will sub the GC players off. Will play Krakouer in the midfield, Prestia on fwd bench:

Nothing wrong with the players you have chosen. I think youor backline is too weak with 3 staring rookies and I would look at upgrading 1 of them with your remaining cash.

Solid effort. Consider swapping Hibberd into your midfield for a Dual Position link, think about your ruck situation when Hawthorn has their bye and Callinan is out injured long term.

You sure do need help, still a nice try though. You have a few that may not play for a few weeks and injury prone players. Start with takin out I Smith and move heppell or hibberd to mid. Puopolo has not cemented his spot. Callinan is out for half the season maybe all. Campbell i hear is injured again. Kerr, Otten(even though everyone has him), Higgins, Sylvia and Knights all have trouble stayin out on the field. ? marks next to Hale, bailey Gilbert(off season probs). Gibbs has a bye in round 23 the prelim final in dt.

Can't see Jackson Trengove really improving THAT much on last year. He'll be a star one day but there's better value out there plus he only scored 82 against GWS!!!

No point having Vickery AND McEvoy is there? Smith is a decent substitute assuming McEvoy / Vickery aren't on a bye.

Im very happy with how my team has unfolded. Only really knuckled down a couple of days ago after no real thought during cricket season.

MIDS: Swan, Pendelbury, Bartel, Mitchell, Foley, Conca (Harris, Swallow, Bewick)

RUCKS: Sandilands, Cox (Smith, Campbell)

FORW : Franklin, N.Riewoldt, Pavlich, J.Brown, Knights, Krakour, Richardson (Matera, Darling, Tapscott)

So 14 keepers with 2 more potentials in Adock and Knights.

Why Sam Mitchell? Considering him my 6th mid and will run riot in a midfield consisting of Hodge, Burgoyne, Rioli etc = no tag

Im going for the league win aswell and have listened to some of the advice on here for league wins.

With Gibbs, Rawlings, and Selwood in your team thats 3 trades you will need to save for them in the league finals as their teams are on byes.

No preseason = Poorly starting JB

No preseason = Poorly starting JB

Isnt that a common denominator every year for JB.

In fact he has done more this preseason than last year where he started looking like he would be the first player to avg 140

The reasons people mainly arnt picking JB is because of the round 4 bye. I suggest if you dont have Higgins to strongly look at JB. Could be a nice unique. M.Clark down front unsure how that will affect him, but still means less attention towards Brown. He never realised this lesser attention properly with Fevola and being injury free.

Any suggestions what to do with the rucks not confident with the bench, is it worth bringing dp between rucks & forwards. Petrie in for knights, derickx out for a rookie ruck with dp?

Squall, I think what you have suggested is perfect. The rucks, once again will prove vital in how we all go this season. Especially with only having 2 subs. Getting the dp with the rucks and forwards will prove to be a great cover. petrie will be up for a big season and he will be perfect



Guys with my side, i have seriously hit a brick wall with changing it. i know it needs changes but i cant think. hopefully i can get a different view from it with some ideas from you guys
