Hi all

Yes - as you would have guessed, the new book on Port Adelaide is soon to be ready.

DIE HARD - A YEAR ON THE ROAD WITH THE POWER

Most of you would have heard about it, in some form or another. It runs at about 250 pages, features interviews with Mark Williams, Brett Ebert and Matthew Primus and a forward by Channel Nine's Rob Kelvin. There are also interviews with various Power fans, from all walks of life, including some from our very own Big Footy.

If I do say so myself, it is a great read and well worth having a copy. That of course, is your choice :)

There will be a VERY limited print run, so my best advice is to get in very early with orders/payments so as to avoid missing out. At this stage, ordering the books directly from me will be the only way to get a copy. All pre-ordering information and any questions you might have can be directed to -

orders_2004@hotmail.com

Furthur info. can be viewed at -

www.geocities.com/port1978/powerbook.html

Look forward to hearing from as many of you as soon as possible.

Cheers
Chris Niehus

I just want to clear this up.

The book is called either 'Die Hard - A Year On The Road With The Power' or 'Fanatic - A Year On The Road With The Power', and you can email either orders_2004@hotmail.com or power_book1@hotmail.com to order.

How about you let people know about it when you're organised?

Dunno why you'd even be interested Berni......not like you follow Port anymore......

And for your information, Chris has already given me the info to chage on the website & it will get fixed up when I get a chance to....so if you want to have ago at anyone have a go at me not Chris.

I'd be assuming Paul Koulouriotis would at least have a mention, if not it is a gross oversight as all players are part of the team. Therefore I am interested. Am I not allowed to be interested? Or does the fact that I still stand by my heritage and take a small interest in Port as not only a team in the AFL but a team deserving of respect not fit with your perception of me?
Do you have a problem with that?

I was not having a go at anyone, rather pointing out discrepancies I noticed. Not everybody can be perfect, but it does help to check stuff before publicising it. Which, I believe, falls on both of you.

Okay Chris,

I'll see if I can find the money somewhere, unfortunately it doesn't count as a textbook so maybe you could save one for me? :)

Berni.

Don't forget the extra mark for trying...
And one more for extra research after the event.
