Stoked to see Duursma in.

Wardlaw’s ankle wasn’t that serious if they have still named him.

Wanted to see the Sellers/Larkey combo, but there is plenty of time for that to happen.

Good that Ford & Corr will get a bit of game time into the legs prior to the season starting.

Interesting that all of Pink, Dawson and Nguyen are seemingly ahead of Comben too, despite how much he was talked up in the pre season

I like this squad a lot. Will be interesting to see what Duursma offers over Paul Curtis tomorrow.

B: Colby McKercher, Toby Pink, Kallan Dawson
HB: Josh Goater, Bigoa Nyuon, Harry Sheezel
C: Will Phillips, Tom Powell, Dylan Stephens
HF: Zane Duursma, Callum Coleman-Jones, Jaidyn Stephenson
F: Cam Zurhaar, Nick Larkey, Charlie Lazzaro
Foll: Tristan Xerri, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Jy Simpkin
I/C: George Wardlaw, Paul Curtis, Bailey Scott, Riley Hardeman, Darcy Tucker, Hugh Greenwood, Cooper Harvey, Zac Fisher

Emerg: Liam Shiels, Robert Hansen jnr, Miller Bergman, Blake Drury

Interestingly, there's several players listed in both the 2.10pm AFL game as well as the 5.20pm VFL match:
Hugh Greenwood, Aidan Corr, Curtis Taylor, Luke McDonald, Liam Shiels, Riley Hardeman, Wil Dawson, Taylor Goad, Miller Bergman, Will Phillips, Charlie Comben, Brayden George, Cooper Harvey, Finnbar Maley, Eddie Ford, Blake Drury, Robert Hansen jnr, Tyler Sellers, Connor Downie, Louis Butler, Kade De La Rue, Deakyn Smith, Charlie Harrop, Cooper Lord, Jack Watkins, Sam Lowson

Wardlaw’s ankle wasn’t that serious if they have still named him.

We'll see if he actually plays tomorrow.

No harm in naming him and giving him every chance, but suspect he'll be evaluated pre-game and a final decision made then, based on his obvious limp he was still carrying today.

Reckon it’s moreso he and Corr had interrupted preseasons so giving them the vfl game instead

I’m still expecting round 1 to be a different story if they get through unscathed tomorrow in the vfl game

If he's still limping today we'd be stupid to play him tomorrow. He's not going to lose anything by resting, he's done all the pre-season

Yes
And we have 3 blokes with no afl games in the back 6
Our last game vSts TT and Buckets in the best !

New quickish team
Plenty of blokes who can play
It is up to Clarko to turn this crew into an actual footy team

Things I want to see tomorrow in order:
1. No injuries
2. Two-way running, all the way to the 4th Q.
3. A functional, acceptable performance from the backline
4. George Wardlaw
5. Colby McKercher
6. Continued promise from our mature aged recruits
7. NORTHBALL
8. Accurate delivery into the forward line
9. Forwards working together / keeping out of Larkey's way
10. Ability to lock the ball in our forward line

So, is this game for the Mason Wood or Tom Campbell cup ?
