Can we play Martin or Grigg at CHF.... and not play a second tall until we get a good one?

Assuming Caddy and Vlas are onball

H. Lennon/Martin, Grigg/Martin, Lloyd/Costanza
F. Rioli, Jack, Stengle

I would play Dusty deep and jack at CHF, but I tend to agree.

Edwards Jack Lloyd
Rioli Dusty George

Would be quick and dangerous

For all the shit he cops, Conca looks to have worked hard this summer, body in the best nic of his career. Regardless of where he should be at this stage on his career, it's obvious he's put his head down and worked his arse off. Hope it translates to a great 2017

Seriously if he comes good, we have serious depth all of a sudden.

I don't recall to many questioning his ability more so his fitness and resulting injuries. Drawing a long bow but to have the flab he had indicates to me a poor fitness base. Wonder if the club had been harder on him if he wouldn't have had the string issues?

Let's hope that is all behind him and he can reward the club with some continuity and evolve as the player the club hoped he could be.

Barring some great performances in the pre season games I would have Edwards playing VFL until he deserves selection. Speed is great but everyone needs to play a role and gel together. Edwards cruises too mch for my liking.

Pretty sure most including me have questioned his ability for the draft pick he was taken at. But kudos to him for a good pre-season so far, fingers crossed his strings stay together

A lot to take in on that mids video.

Nank lays two massive tackles, one on Miles was HTB.

Caddy & Prestia both look very comfortable in tight.

Miles gets a beautiful long handball to Cotch who then changes the angle hanballing to another mid.

Caddy turning the ball inside to a trailing Grigg to kick downfield was slick.

Was it Corey who stepped off his right foot to avoid the tackler? Hope so, that was good agility.

Conca at the very least, looks bloody fit. Not often has that been said.

I have no idea how we will line up for round 1, so that can only be a good thing.
agree on Nankervis, the more time goes on the more positive things we hear about him, he is a Champion Data favourite as well.

Fair based on Saturday, and as always, value your feedback rfctiger74

There is another one this Thursday, which we picked out at the start of the year to focus on as it's the closest to JLT. So expect more coverage to come out of that one (maybe not live video, but a replay, commentary, shortly after etc.), without making it more than it is to RodneyDangerfield's point. Don't think the labeling of Saturday's session as an 'intra-club' in the traditional-sense did our planning for Thursday any favours.
is this one an open session as well?

also 1 thing from saturday, it was almost impossible to tell who the players in white tops were as they had no #1 on the jumper, especially when ball was up the other end (i was at Superstore end). have 'Yellow v Black" & black can have yellow #'s so we know who is doing what. ppl around where i was spent half the day trying to figure out who player x was in white top.

just needs a decent injury free run, then we will finally see what he can do, got a heap of the ball on saturday & was one of the better players on the ground.

C'mon you can't expect the club to number the training singlets as well. It was just a pre season intra club or do you want them to wear these in every trading session through the year also? Maybe learn who players are by their looks etc might be better if you are having issues distinguishing them.

Completely agree G T 15, Griff is going to be right by the start of the season, pacing himself due to niggling injuries i reckon, and young Chol, due to not playing a lot of footy from 8 onwards, doesn't have the natural ability to read the play or fall of the ball, high and straight at him so he can use his leap is his only real strength, bit like Majak Daw, who can take a good high mark, but drops the next 6, and its not a natural thing to chase hard and compete when the ball goes to ground, something you learn during 10 years of junior apprenticeship, as i call it. Not what you want on the Rich forward line or more so up back.Who do you think can go forward and assist JR?
Griff would be the most likely second key, but he seems too inconsistent and soft for AFL. Hope that will change but have seen no signs this preseason that it will. We will probably need to rely on Jack and the smalls/medium forwards to kick goals.

He pulled a string last year just before the ball was bounced in the pre-season cup if I remember. Was in good shape as well.....

Forgot to mention I saw the new jumper in the Superstore too.

It looks a million times better than the last one, loved it.

They are, the tax is paid within the price of the ticket. What does happen is when you place the windfall into bank accounts, they incur interest which is then something that has to be declared at tax time. Remember most basic bank accounts have rubbish interest rates tho.
Yeah but the prowler thought you had to pay 100 k om 1 mil win. And your right rates are so low that you would hardly pay much tax on a mil interest.
Mind you if the tatts people give me a mil win i wouldn't care if i paid 100 k to government.:D

Even RFC said its hard to distinguish them when they are at the other end of the ground in reply to my exact same comments.

Good point, it is tough from one end to the other, especially with no elevation and every small forward in fluro boots.

And you can read the numbers at the other end of the ground as the players run around? Okay then but I reckon it's going a bit above and beyond to number their summer training singlets for a one off.

Maybe a better alternative might be the AFL & VFL jumpers but then the colours will be too similar.

I think Prowler's saying that if you hypothetically spent all that money on GST bearing goods/services then 10% (or 1/11th more accurately) is going toward GST. Which is technically correct.

The flaw in his logic is that most of us would spend it on hookers and coke (GST free supply).
