Pretty sure Burgiel is close to Petrucelle speed. But looks more like a natural footballer.

Happy with the condition players came back in
I think he manages ongoing back issues. I've noticed he's had trouble bending to pick up the ball for a few seasons now.2 days of running and darlings got back issues contradicts this.

I would consider players 24 and up as peak of their powers and the word young shouldn't be used in a football sense, particularly for those drafted at 18/19. I much prefer the US model where it's first year players are rookies, second are sophomores and then you're a vet. 3rd year vet, 4th year vet, etc. it puts more onus on the player.Compared to Hurn? Yes.

How’s the transformation?

He was talking about the draft but perhapsJust on the running back - We did also bring in Jayden Hunt. He could be referring to him also?
I want CB mid/forward personally.
As good as that isGee the noise around Culley is exciting. I know it's typical to fall into the 'wow he's looking big and tearing it up' preseason hype, but we've got a jacked 6'4 mid that just came third in our time trial. The exciting aspect for me is how driven the kid clearly is.
As good as that is
Could you look at it the other way and be concerned? Cripps 30plus and Culley 6 months on a list are in the top 3?
I really hoped no one was going to bring up Cavka. Makes me nervous
I think it’s a reasonable testament to that talent deadzone on AsterixTheGaul age chart around the 24 year age group. As good as that is

I think some people are just good at time trials. Cavka came in and broke the record immediately. I don't think it's necessarily a reflection of a club wide fitness issue.
And by that logic you can certainly play down Culley's time trial as being indicative of future performance. However, it must have been a very long time since one of our best runners was a big bodied inside mid. I didn't realise he was as good a runner as that and it's a great skillset combo to have.
Regardless, he's obviously come back a bit bigger and in ripping nick. He seems like the type to always strive to get the best out of himself which sets himself up well for a career in the AFL when you combine it with his other traits.
