Bit hard to tell since talent was distributed across the two teams.

Just watched the first 3 inside 50s:

I50 #1. Fawcett the tall target, but clearly inexperienced so doesn't get to the drop of the ball. If it was Lynch or Kosi, potentially makes it a contested situation.

I50 #2: Kosi wins a 3 v 1, but no one really crumbing. Once we had players arrive, they get in the way of each other, and fumble the ball.

I50 #3: Over Kosi's head (who probably does get illegally held as he tries to spin back and run towards the ball), but can't be relying on Mansell to win the aerial contest there. Player who kicked the ball had time and space as well, so probably could've done a lot better with the delivery.

Watched first 15min and with the go pro got NFI who the players are , couple of obs. Ball movement is frenetic , totally chargeeeeee. Don’t think we stopped ad transitioned once , am thinking this style will lend itself to smalls in attack as the f50 entries were crude So a lot of ball on ground. Be good 5o see how we go against real oppo , this style not easy to play against ,,,if you can hold onto the ball

Remember early days Shedda couldn't kick, he was a complete butcher. Dow's kicking will improve like Sheddas once he has the fitness and composure to run out games.

Agree Sheeda was a putrid kick early on and couldn’t handball either it was like the ball was too big and heavy for him.
Turned out to be one of our best ball users of all time, his vision and composure was just sublime. Reckon he earned the title of champion

Turned out to be one of our best ball users of all time, his vision and composure was just sublime. Reckon he earned the title of champion

Shedda could shank a pass like a golfer that can’t use a sand wedge , he eventually grew out of it

Good to hear about Dow, McAuliffe and Hopper. Shame about Prestia but at least Dow is ready to roll. What were Steelys goals like? Not sure he kicked one from much further out than the goal square in the reserves last year.

Not sure what King was talking about, watching the replay there were plenty of handball chains and running. In fact Red teams first goal was all handballs.

It's not too late to move Balta back Adem.....

He was johnny on the spot mostly, played that annoying small role where he just seems to be where every hacked kick landed. whether luck or good reading of the play/ball hard to tell. But he kicked straight so he gets full marks there.
