Exactly my point, I just don't see how we can even justify paying him 200k pa in 2018. For his own financial security he should look elsewhere because we shouldn't offer him the money and length of a contract other clubs would offer. Even if he has a good year. Regardless of his season we should let him walk and take the spare cash to spread over our youth, of which I rate, as opposed to bringing in a FA.Apparently he is on about 600k a year.
There is absolutely no chance we would give a 4 year deal to a 29 year old with a Dodgey knee who at best is now depth (as of today).
The last bit is tongue in cheek. 4 years to LeCras post knee, given he was younger, but still was outrageous.Apparently he is on about 600k a year.

I disagree, big big difference between offering a contract to a 26 year old Lecras who had proven his worth post knee (he had a reasonable 2013 the year he signed the new contract) was an all australian a couple years before and a 28 year old Emac (29 in may) who is yet to prove he can contribute going forward. The last bit is tongue in cheek. 4 years to LeCras post knee, given he was younger, but still was outrageous.
Anyhow, both shouldn't be on our list in 2018 as we should be able to replace their output with significantly cheaper options.I disagree, big big difference between offering a contract to a 26 year old Lecras who had proven his worth post knee (he had a reasonable 2013 the year he signed the new contract) was an all australian a couple years before and a 28 year old Emac (29 in may) who is yet to prove he can contribute going forward.
Lecca should have been offered 3 years but 4 was given in good faith i believe as he has been a good servant.
Agreed. Time to draft a couple of KPP next draftAnyhow, both shouldn't be on our list in 2018 as we should be able to replace their output with significantly cheaper options.

I got a voucher for Christmas today that will enable the purchase of a new polo
Bad news is that my family are requesting I either find a job or take up the offers of a gofundme page

When Vardy goes down with injury and doesn't play a game we'll see how he stacks up with Petter's 22 games and 40 goals.Vardy will kick many goals and will win many ruck duals in 17. Petrie will also, but for East Perth
Vardy might go down with a niggle and never play a game for East Perth sure because he'll be chopping up the AFL.When Vardy goes down with injury and doesn't play a game we'll see how he stacks up with Petter's 22 games and 40 goals.
Dreast PerthrieDrew Perthrie
Rubbish, Petrie brings a great deal of class and experience to a list crying out for both things. Will be Top 5 in our Best and Fairest.Vardy and Petrie.
**** me sideways. Unbelievable we are even discussing these two in the 2017 WCE Pre season thread.
Neither should be on the bloody list.
