I am thinking Arie will be targeted by the new Tasmanian licenceIt will be interesting to see what position Hammer trains in pre-season and plays in practice matches. He looked solid in limited game as a defender last season.
The other question is whether Arie is a second/third tall or a Grant Birchall type or both even? Hopefully he will be similar to Miles Bergman but be a better player. Be able to play tall or small... also move up the wing etc.
Don’t chase rockets!Potential hot tip!

A "little birdie" told me he'll be ready to go Round 1.What's the latest on Henry?
Henry is a very important cog in our machine.A "little birdie" told me he'll be ready to go Round 1.
You would hope so. He was injured in July.A "little birdie" told me he'll be ready to go Round 1.
Agree, he plays the full length of the ground with speed and verticality. In defense he will be playing 2 thirds of the ground, and we lose out on him running opponents into the ground to pop up for goals in the forward line.I've also thought about Mase taking Battle's spot, but although he's definitely capable of being serviceable in defence, I feel like we'd be wasting his strength/point of difference, being that he's constantly running to help the backline aerially but also there when we need him up forward to kick a clutch goal or 2.
Are they training at RSEA Park Friday morning ?
Ok ThanksIf noone knows on here, then ring the club
It wasn't a minor issue he had and they can be pretty nasty, some people have struggled to ever get the knee right after that type of injuryYou would hope so. He was injured in July.
Didn't realise it was that bad. I was at that game and he looked pretty sore when it happened. Reckon Harley Reid ran through him for memory. When I heard he hadn't done his ACL I just assumed he might be out for a couple of months. Anyway hope he recovers alright and has no ongoing issues. It wasn't a minor issue he had and they can be pretty nasty, some people have struggled to ever get the knee right after that type of injury
“Scans today have shown Liam has significant cartilage damage to his knee,” EGM Football David Misson said.Didn't realise it was that bad. Cartilage damage can be pretty bad because it doesn't grow or heal itself very well. Once it's gone you can't really get it back.Didn't realise it was that bad.
