I feel like Jordy still missing at training is somewhat of a concern.

Hopefully the knee knock wasn't that bad
They can do a lot behind closed doors these days, but no appearance at all at two sessions for an incident that was “all clear” is bothersome. If it’s 3 sessions then questions will be asked.

Yeah it's just a little bit of a concern because prior to that knee knock he had clearly been ramping up.

Even if he was only running or whatever, he was still basically at all the training sessions.

We're now talking two no shows post a "knee knock", so yeah, hopefully it's nothing serious. Last thing we need.

I saw him briefly hanging outside the front of the glasshouse in the grey training top and runners on his phone, so must be doing stuff inside. But it is a bit concerning. If there was no issue and it wasn't a calf, then he should have been outside.

Anything notable at training this morning?

I’m especially interested in how Houston, Perryman, Membrey, Allan and McCreery are going?

And Checkers - he gets very little mention in pre-season reports. Is he fully fit?

Grateful for the insights of those able to attend regularly and post.

Aren't there differing degrees of severity with corkies? Perhaps they're just being extra cautious considering he's just recovering from his groin injury?

Yes, but wasn't the corked knee, Mcstay? With Jordy, the media just said "all clear."

Media said that yes calf injury but scans clear via the track watchers and then Jordy told Mitch Cleary that night it was some knee on knee collision soreness but he will be ok

Oh yeah, it was Dan with the corky. I told you I'm getting up too early these days 🥴

Anyway, probably still just being extra cautious with Jordy. I took it to be all clear of anything like a tear or similar. Not even sure if it was calf or knee on knee.

They said the scans were clear. Not sure why they'd bother lying if they weren't.

Jordy also said he was fine that evening when asked.

Jordy said it was a knee on knee knock. So no idea what to make of that given he hasn't been out for two sessions now

They're retraining the way he runs. It could be as simple as it's a bit ginger and they don't want him running at the moment with something that will impact his new gait. Or it could be as simple as it's Jordy and no story about him (good or bad) ever seems to be kosher.
