If you're looking for an omen, it will be Fly's 50th birthday on Friday, and his 50th game as Collingwood coach.
GO PIES!!!!
My 40th birthday on Saturday, and if the pies win, I'll probably be cracking my 40th beer for the night before I turn 40

I think we beat GWS 4 times out of 5 in the current scenario - the key influencing factor that will result in a GWS win is the in-game loss of one of our key or significant players. For this reason, I'd choose a sub that will allow us to mitigate the loss of our most significant key player. I see the in-game loss of Titch as a key risk - for that reason, it would be MacRae as sub - not because he is in our best 23, but because he is best equipped to cover for the loss of our only pure inside mid.
Very astute!

Earlier on this morning on SEN, can't remember who said it, but based on latest sessions, they said the likely changes would be Daicos for Adams which is obvious and Noble to come in for Ginni as a sub.

I'm still undecided if I prefer Ginni or Noble. I think I would prefer Ginni as he can win a game off his boot.

Looking forward to the footy journos waking up on Saturday after our game and asking - what just happened?

Sounds like GWS ruckman Briggs got through training in decent shape today. So they’ll be full strength on Friday night. But hopefully a bit tired too.

GWS supporters noted the team looked tired in the last quarter against the Saints. 2.0 to 1.9 against Port in their last quarter indicates a similar scenario. If we’re close at 3QT with an extra 9 days rest, we’ll run over the top of them.

3 interstate finals in 3 weeks. Huge ask

GWs are not bothered by travel. Geographically speaking they are well placed being only an hour from Melbourne. Plus the Port game last week was pretty bruise free.

Travel and preparation are not an issue for them. Their only issue is can the seventh ranked team beat the top team. They will believe they can.

Belief and reality are 2 different things

Unless you sleep during the day, or sleep on and off on the couch or you are a baby who sleeps 4 times a day, there are two sleeps to go. I'm so inclusive.

One sleep til the Grand Final for Simon Goodwin

And our captain’s 150th the following week (....if we get there ) 💪

Watching afl 360 a thought came to me, if afl was hollywood Bruce maca would tongue kiss gerard whately at the Grammy awards.

Jezza Howe did very well to calmly endure Slobbo’s inane, off-topic ramblings.

I still find it inexplicable that Slobbo replaced the intelligent and articulate Mike Sheehan as the chief footy writer at The Herald Sun. Seriously, how?

We are 14-0 when in front at 3/4 time. Make sure we have a 4 to 5 goal lead so that we can relax and enjoy the last.

Yes, hard to see us losing Q4. Hopefully it will be to put the icing on the cake.

A fast start is important. If we can jump them and crowd gets really loud, those GWS legs will feel heavier and the fumbles will be magnified.

Here’s hoping!

Just watched AFL 360

As expected

All about GWS. We have to be concerned about all their players. We’re just mugs who fluked top spot and clearly pose no threat to such a champion side that’s scraped into finals by beating a team that switched off at quarter time.

Listening to all our players and fly, it sounds like they are too busy enjoying today and being in the moment then to worry about Friday night.

Do you say that positively or as a concern about not being sufficiently focused?
