Rankines lack of contested game will make it hard for him to ever be a true midfielder.
Rachele has the lower body strength to become an Ablett styled midfielder.

Yeah, he's only rated as elite in 2022 (for small forwards w/o a midfield rotation, as aflstatpro seemingly has a 2nd position seeing how it seems to have some sorting with bands) at contested disposals, contested possession rate, ground ball gets (including the league leader of F50 ground ball gets), and stoppage clearances.
There is nothing in Rankines profile that indicates a lack of contested game.

He looks like he's reached peak muscle mass now.
The level of strength where he can completely ragdoll any defender who'se even remotely out of position.
Any chance ROB can turn up to round 1 and take a mark
I can fully understand where he is coming from.
If you are putting together that many good performances, you should get rewarded for it.
If ROB was even average last year, that would have been bearable but he was so far below average, that Strachan should have been given more of a go
