If Hayden Ballantyne and She-Hulk had a baby, it would be Josh Treacy. In regards to Treacy - I was blown away by his work rate. He covers so much ground and he just glides across the park. I know a lot of people are bullish on Logan McDonald but I maintain that JT is going to be a very special player. It’s all starting to come together for him and when it clicks he will be a nightmare match up.
Treacy was pretty strong and vocal in the first few stanzas. He gave some good leads around half forward and took a decent clunk in one play. At one stage he bulleted a pass into Jye that was too fierce and bounced off his chest, so if he is going to play that half forward role he may need to work on delivery i50. Otherwise I think the fact he wasn’t backup ruck meant he wasn’t as involved around the ground as usual.
It can work.Tabs, Amiss and Treacy can work. Seems like a proper forward in Grantham line coach is working. Did so for Amiss, Jackson and Treacy at times.
Doesn't it just feel like one to many with Jackson as well?Tabs, Amiss and Treacy can work. Seems like a proper forward in Grantham line coach is working. Did so for Amiss, Jackson and Treacy at times.
No. Jackson isn’t the typical cumbersome second ruck. The club should unleash him in a hybrid role. Can play wing, HF, midfield.Doesn't it just feel like one to many with Jackson as well?

Crikey reading these reports there is a lot to worry about. Surely not as bad as it sounds
To a certain degree. The players were also clearly trying to take the game on and there’s at least one non best 22 standard player in every possession chain.
It can work.
Except for Darcy they are all mobile . Jackson and Treacy on the ground are small forward like.
Have 4 on the field with 1 on the bench. Equals 80% game time.
Plus, you can sub one out at 3/4 time and use effective load management. Tabs and Darcy has injury histories.
We should think outside the box and just accidentally have some Morton bay fig seeds land on that ridge accompanied by fertilizer and copious water. As has been stated many times before, the club hates it too but has no power to do anything. The land is privately owned and approaches by the club to the owners have been rebuffed many times apparently.
Yes agreed.I think we all have to remember also that it’s much easier to make mistakes when your opponent also knows the game plan.
So I reckon we will see where we are really at against other opposition

Slight correction, Amiss is only 20, turns 21 in July. Treacy is 21No. Jackson isn’t the typical cumbersome second ruck. The club should unleash him in a hybrid role. Can play wing, HF, midfield.
Amiss as good as he is, needs protection as he’s only 21.
Just don’t want Treacy anywhere near the ruck.
Dirty Morton Bay fig!!!!!!I mean seriously!!!!We should think outside the box and just accidentally have some Morton bay fig seeds land on that ridge accompanied by fertilizer and copious water.
How’s shredded fred behind him. Also, despite having an elite rig and visible abs, Dogga is standing here with a real bit of Dad-bod energy casting a gaze over his freshly cut buffalo grass.

Doesn't surprise me.....he has an injury plagued history unfortunately. His running gait is also very awkward to the point where it looks like his hamstrings don't allow his legs to fully extend. Hard to explain but once you see it, you will know.McKenzie did a hammy Saturday, but looks to have committed to keep training with Freo. Highly doubt we pick him up now.
