Progressed from Ammos to VFL to AFL in less than 12 months didn’t he?I reckon we pulled a rabbit out of the hat with Stanley, I think he's not just going to be B22, but will become one of our top 12 players. Just a natural footballer and athlete who took a bit longer than others to pull his finger out. Now he has, he's progressing at a ridiculous rate.
A year before he was drafted he hadn’t even cracked the senior ammos sideProgressed from Ammos to VFL to AFL in less than 12 months didn’t he?
It’s hard not to get excited. Apart from his physical attributes that are clearly there for all to see you’d think his footy IQ must be through the roof to just keep hitting the next level.A year before he was drafted he hadn’t even cracked the senior ammos side
His background and how he bolted from being an amateur player to an afl player in record time has many similarities to Issac Smith. His pace and long kicking also similar to Smith. Geez if even one of Stanley or Sharp can step up and be regular contributors next season our prospects look way better.A year before he was drafted he hadn’t even cracked the senior ammos side
Did someone say Tabs?
So do we, a lot of them are feeders for the factories and giant hospitality corporationsAnd they have entire schools that don't have students able to pass literacy testing.
He’s easily got the highest ceiling of our wing options, in that limited game time he had in 2023, his poise and decision making looked first rate and the booming kick is a thing of beauty. It’s hard not to get excited. In the last quarter of one our games this year he won a clearance about 60m from goal, exploded from congestion, found himself in about 5m of space in the blink of an eye and just missed the goal from about 40m.
He’s the kind of player we have been missing.
Why are you limiting him to a wingHe’s easily got the highest ceiling of our wing options, in that limited game time he had in 2023, his poise and decision making looked first rate and the booming kick is a thing of beauty.
I am stunned by the physical strength he seems to have added in 3 months. If he has the endurance to run out a game pounding up and down the wing and can get 20 touches a game, we’ll be set for the next decade.
I think his lack of contested game does that for him.Why are you limiting him to a wing
A possible wing rotation of NOD, Sharp and Stanley would seem to have a lot of potential. Success here could make a massive difference. Here's hoping. It’s hard not to get excited. He's still fresh in the system. The fact that they put him in the center at Peel during finals would show that they do see it as a potential option. I agree though he should be focused on securing a wing spot for now.I think his lack of contested game does that for him.
If he improves that he has a bunch more options with his size and athletic profile.
What do you mean by scrubber kick? Something bad (e.g. along the ground)? Looks like a nice low bullet pass to me.Anyone else notice the scrubber kick he manages after the mark.
Last two WAFL games of the season before he was out with the back injury he was playing on ball.I think his lack of contested game does that for him.

My bad, I thought we were talking about Sharp. Agree on Stanley.Last two WAFL games of the season before he was out with the back injury he was playing on ball.
