Pays to remember betting markets aren't actually rational. Really GC should be 100 to 1. No one is winning the flag when their club has never made the finals before, no matter who is coach. It’s crazy Gold Coast is above us when they have never played a final. Essendon hasn’t won one for 20 years either.
I think they're a shout to make the 8 though. Surely.Pays to remember betting markets aren't actually rational. Really GC should be 100 to 1. No one is winning the flag when their club has never made the finally before, no matter who is coach.
I'm sorry to tell you this but preseason was actually tomorrow...I am not a crackpot.

Those odd are nuts but not in the way you are saying.Even though I don't think we're likely to make top 4, we're nowhere near 41-1 for the flag bad.
He literally finished first in some of the trials last preseason.O'Driscoll is about to be back to his 2022 best if this first training session is anything to go by, No I'm not making an early call......shut up, YOU'RE delusional!!!!
Didn’t he get sick in January? He literally finished first in some of the trials last preseason.
Youngbloods doing time trials of 2x laps (I dunno how far that is, sue me)
Freddy absolutely gliding. Majestic.
He, Worner, Raz consistently the front three.
Followed by Drapes, Johnno then Noddy.
Jacko the first of the big guys then Davies, JT, then Reidy and Jye at the back.
He can’t kick.O'Driscoll is about to be back to his 2022 best if this first training session is anything to go by, No I'm not making an early call......shut up, YOU'RE delusional!!!!
Noddy doesn’t finish top 5 in the first two and then finishes 1st in the last. Was he saving himself to get the glory in the last one?Think it was Williams and not Draper. From the FFC website:
Time Trial 1:
1. Karl Worner
2. Michael Frederick
3. Neil Erasmus
4. Conrad Williams
5. Matt Johnson
Time Trial 2:

You'll go broke fast betting on footy. I mostly stick to horses, they're more trustworthy. Those odd are nuts but not in the way you are saying.
Sportsbet as always are absolute tossers quoting underpriced odds. They do it all the time.
North should be $1000 for the flag. Eagles - $10,000.
I would have ourselves at about $80 to win it, Gold Coast the same. That’s about a genuine reflection of either sides chances of winning a flag in 2024. They have the order about right but anything beyond the top 8 sides should be priced at a minimum of $50.
I only found this out recently but when Sportsbet do a same game multi, they don’t give you the real odds. Say you bet on a 3 leg multi with a single price of $2 per leg, that should amount to 2 x 2 x 2 = $8 for the 3 leg multi.
They will initially price it about $6.50 then give you a “bonus” to make it $8.
Absolute scumbags and it should be illegal.
They also undervalue practically every set of AFL odds. You will see a player like amiss priced at $1.10 to kick 2 goals in a game. That indicate that over 10 games he kicks 2 a game 9/10 times. His goals per game average however will be maybe 1.9 goals a game. Therefore The true likelihood of him kicking 2 goals is probably $1.50. But they will never offer that. The only time you get genuine odds on a player is when a newbie enters the league and they are unsure what his level is like.
It’s just a mass extraction of wealth from young impressionable people but it helps fund the salaries of people like Hutchy and the AFL exec so it will never change.
Cheers for all the updates.Had to leave early today, but it was actually really enjoyable heading down. Going to go up a level when the seniors return.
Noddy was probably my best on, was working hard and his kicking was excellent. Still has that really sluggish running style but he was moving well.
Sonny... Man. Just keeps on keeping on. Was easily the most vocal along with JT.
Freddy was moving beautifully. Absolute specimen.
Thought Raz looked bigger. Johnno's kicking was excellent. As was Sturt's.
Pleasantly surprised that they launched into some skills after the time trials. The intensity was actually quite good, start of training was dead quiet but once the footy's came out the energy really lifted.
Also, not a bad coffee.
I am not a crackpot.
In the rehab group, apparentlyWas Emmett in this group to train?

Yep, he won that betPreseason bingo
I'm absolutely stoked that Conrad was good in the trials. Now just need to build the body and teach him to find the footy.
No, no, no, dude can run fast and kick already. Just have to teach him how to seagull to get the ball and we're set.So in other words teach him to play footy
