is english playing?

Bont forward according to matthew lloyd's twitter?

Where is mclean playing?
No English
Basically no rucks today
Sweet is a forward

Bont mid/forward
McLean inside mid

Cody off hurt but should be fine

Watching Bailey Smith as a ruck is a pissa ngl

One of those rare types who have looked that way since their very first AFL game.
Yep - real Bont-like in that regard. We've got a lot of nice players that looked good in their first handful of games, but the composure and skill Bont and Darcy showed off was something else. The leg issues are a worry but his talent certainly isn't. I'm certain he will be a superstar if he can get a clean run at it.

Appreciate the updates mate.

How is Ed Richards looking and is he playing more of a traditional HB role?

Who has been taking the kickouts?
Playing that lock down/ runner role

Blue team is Dale and White is a mixture of Bruce, Crozier and Poulter

Can we play:
KPF1 Naughton
KPF2 Darcy
Ruck/FF Lobb
MedF Jamara
SmaF Cody
SmaF JJ

Too slow?
Not too slow. Too good.

Need to have Macrae and Bailey Smith forward. And possibly draft Gowers and play him fwd too.

Can't afford to have a high quality fwd line. It doesn't fit in with Bevo's mantra.

Naughton & JUH are as quick as anyone so the key will be to ensure that they are providing elite defensive pressure as talls. Lobb & Darcy are extremely similar players so if Darcy does play forward, the key will be how to maximize their strengths and ensuring they aren't in each others way. Regardless of how good they are, there's only so many goals and forward entry targets to be had.

Spangher will have to earn his paycheck this season. The tactical substitute means that Bevo might be happy to start with a taller lineup and make a change if it isn't working.

Third gen player might have something to do with it. Father-son doesn't always mean successful, Ayce Cordy comes to mind, but Darcy's grown up immersed in footy.
