Really don’t understand not playing a proper preseason game this week, surely we’d want as much real (or closer to it than an intraclub anyway) game time as possible considering our likely new structure.

Wouldn’t travel for it but surely could have arranged something with a Melb club early days

Clarke really does remind me of Honeychurch in his looks & general demeanour. Wonder if he's as popular with club training staff

I enjoy that Tim O'Brien looks like a school kid compared to the other plays in his row. I think well over a quarter of our list are taller than him and he's listed as 193cm? Crazy.

The journos who I have seen attend, speak with a Club Official and take a very limited or superficial lens and then run with it. Sometimes what I read is laughable.

The ones I saw talked about some music festival with someone from the club, watched a couple of drills, talked amongst themselves for another hour, and then did an interview with JJ. I'm honestly surprised they even bothered turning up that early

It’s unbelievable that so many players have continued to grow well into their 20s, O’Brien has apparently grown 3cm over the offseason.

As much as Darcy can be that third tall rotational player, he isn’t as solid as Bruce. Bruce will be in the mix for that bench spot too. He has been training back, which makes me think we see him as a potential swing man.

Bruce’s hardness and aggression are just what our team lacks and I can see his value as the bench player, hopefully he doesn’t have to relief ruck, at any stage.

Really hoping that we give Bruce a shot as that rotational player IF not round one, then soon.

I just can't see us playing 8 talls. The ball would rebound so quickly out of our forward line that it'd be ridiculous
