Lucky to not be further behind. Pressure around the ball is non-existent so far. Everyone wants the ball and nobody's prepared to be accountable. Lucky the Dogs look a frac rusty. Looks like Fort has taken a good hard look at the Brisbane Lions set shot text book also.

Berry might also be in strife for that tackle, even though he won the free kick.

Good to finally see a bit of hunger around the ball, from Charlie of all people.

Great from Dev to set up the clearance that ended up with McStay inside 50 for a goal.

Fort pushed aside in a marking contest on the wing far too easily. I've also got Fullarton ahead of him at the moment.

Our zone defence is very much at sixes and sevens... Hard to tell from TV whether that is being caused by midfielders or defenders. Not sure we've done nearly as much work on this as we should have over summer.

We're like seagulls over a leftover sandwich around the ball, whereas the Dogs are balancing their inside and outside players better, and are therefore able to gather and then spread far more regularly.

Lovely gather and handball on the up from Fullarton deep in defence which resulted in a rebound 50 late in the term.

Not minding Madden's game so far.

Need to do much better in the contest, and need to do much, much better in stopping the Dogs just shredding us in defensive transition.
