Hi Guys,

I have a DVD Video Camera which takes mini dvds. I dont know why but when i put them into my computer after recording onto them my computer doesnt recognise them. I have used DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM and it only recognises the DVD-RAM disks. I didnt receive any programs to install to use on my computer i was told to just put the disk in and it will play ?

I thought it might have something to do with the formatting but it doesnt matter whether i format as VR or VIDEO the DVD-RW or DVD-R will not play on mine nor my mates computer. The RAM disks play if i format them VR????

If anyone has had the same problem or could help would be wonderful!

Thanks

You will most likely have to close the session on the DVD before your PC can play it.

If you know what you are doing with .vob files you should also be OK, but that obviously isn't the case. :)

If all else fails, read the manual. It's something with the recorder, not your or your mates PCs.

Thanks for your help Catty, when you say close the session on your video camera would that just be finalising the disk? There is an option to do that. I lost the manuel, most likely threw it away as i am a know-it-all!!!
