Some of you may already know this, but nevertheless thought it important enough, due to thread topic, to put the info on here..
I think a lot of us have been pretty disgusted at the insurance companies and their lack of coverage for the floods....similiar things have happened down here in Vic with our floods.....anyhow..
...went into my local Westpac today, and plastered all over their tellers windows were big signs saying that their house and contents insurance covers FLOODS (thats how they had it written), then it said, Yes, Floods..
Spoke to the woman briefly, and she said all that had gone on in Qld and Vic, we would have covered...
So there you are...I was impressed enough to want to spread the word..
Its a bit late I know, but gee, these big "reputable" companies might need to take note..
