You aren't annoying me. I wish I had the official answers though...I sit here most weeks hoping the club takes the umpires to task (ie "seeks clarification") but I don't even know that they do.

Pedantic as **** by the ump, the step was as he kicked, it wasn't a play-on situation where any advantage was gained but rules be rules I guess. No issues if applied consistently...if it was for being too close in the first place as per [USER=174847]Lotus[/USER]' account, then that is inconsistent "coaching", and a really late call to boot.

I'd call it a gaff by Brand, should have shown greater awareness. Bigger gaff was Duryea's defensive effort, I mean what was going on there? He was lucky not to get pinged for a jumper hold, he was facing the incoming ball yet still got totally outpointed by a third gamer who took a chest mark.
