How many more games will we win this year?

Trigg and Chapman refusing accountability for the Tippett disaster, at the expense of the Club, started the rot.

Roo almost changed it with Walsh - then he brought Burton in; while Chapman remained; any pretence of accountability and putting the club first disappeared after that.

Trigg's allegiances was fully disclosed when the AFL made sure he got a plum job not long after leaving.

Would any real entity volunteer self sanctions like Trigg did during the Tippett fiasco when he was the one responsible in the first place?

Because we ain't a real members club we will never know the wheelings and dealings that took place to save Trigg at the expense of the football team.

People who were at the ground who think Michalanney will be in trouble for the "gut punch" are in for a nasty surprise

With how the MRO usually grade a Crows player, that might be his year done. There were at least two elbows to the face and Moore had a shiner straight after

Was it Hinge who did the chase down tackle on Jiath, last quarter, member's side? Seemed to slam him into the ground pretty heavily, looked like his head hit the turf. Jiath was down for a while and then got helped off

I sit on the opposite side so didn't have a great view however and there was no replay.

Rachele - Sorry but this guy needs a rev up and if it takes dropping him for awhile to make it clear he is not an automatic selection, than so be it.
What's clear to players like Rachele
and Smith
and Murphy
and Laird
is that if you're one of Nicks' faves, one of the chosen few, then you are an automatic selection, regardless of form.

If you were building a flag team, the level of talent required would make Soligo (as an example) a fringe midfielder in the team. We need to stop pinning our hopes on this list, because the rebuild has hardly began. The situation is that dire.

And I don’t think the club knows/will admit it.
Soligo is your 3rd midfielder. We have yet to recruit the top two A graders.

Nicks has dragged far too many duds to 50 games

Thats what happens when you dont have an eye for talent. You look for mature bodies instead and Nicks went all in on developing a set group of players with literally no interest in bringing in fresh talent. Keep in mind Dowling, Taylor, Bond, Curtin all came in for injuries only. A surplus of injuries at that. None of them were promoted on the back of players having poor form. Curtin got a game in round 7 when we were like 1 and 5. It took 5 mediocre games from the entire team that included injuries for a debutant.

It was Hinge. There didn't seem to be much in it beyond maybe a missed free kick.

A player and club legend who should be immune from criticism. We owe him.

No-one is immune from constructive criticism.

If he wants to play next year then it is on minimum $$$ and we can’t guarantee you games.

Yes, he has been a stalwart for the club but he has been paid handsomely for that privilege.

Thats the point isnt it. Nicks has never laid down the law to the squad and for the last 3 years played his favourites, even trying to invent roles like non statistical shape runner to justify selecting McHenry.
