James Rahilly on KROCK

Dockers will be a battle - MF will be hard to contain and their consistency is high

No Treacy and no SDK prob cancel each other out.

Young Brayshaw and Serong will be guns and we need to get on top. Wont be easy.

We try and limit damage from the opposition but we have to play our game too - but this week its gonna be a task.

Oppo teams been working on Stewy - we need to shift him around and make the matchup hard for him.

Will get a MF run but also will be down back.

WA big ground so we need to eatch the Freo Hback as well. The way we defend will be really important.

Bewsy stiff to miss out - not a lot wrong last week but in Best 25.

Parfitt - injury apparently but not everyone knows what it is.

Blues VFL accurate and that hurt us.

Gonna be hot

I hear some doubt in those comments.

Corrigan on KROCK

Played good footy for 3/4 and they got us over the top in the last.

Was a crucial game and needed to win.

Can still get Top 4 but it requires other results to go our way unfortunately.

Hardie had 35, Knevitt has 31.

Corrigan liked Knevitt, Foster was good, Hardie was consistent again.

Main priority is to get VFL players ready for AFL game so for example Knevitt plays VFL roles that will support his transition to AFL - great tank, good inside mid and aerial work can play all over the place.

Good to have a full squad to select from if both teams make finals. Good group with VFL listed players as well so plenty of AFL and VFL players to be available.

VFL good to get AFL listed blokes outside the 25 some big game intensity experiences too -

Parf had hammy awareness so not played

Clohesy - Got a head knock and passed the SCAT HIA test but he should be good for next week.

Lucas, Hughes, Herbert, Capiron, Lovell all did good for GFL players.

VFL has Sandy next week @ Sandringham.

Safe bet is with the home team but a few reasons why we can win and why cats are my 'roughy' tip this week:

• Milestone game, boys to get up for Jezza.
• The man himself is in good form and will put on a show today.
• wide open spaces of optus suites our runners and gameplan this season
• Are they really going to let them beat us 4 times in a row?! Hell no!

My game day routine is to cook delicious food.

Today, it’s a whole beef filet with Shiraz + Thyme. Roasted Italian vegetables + steamed asparagus with Reggiano parmesan.

I’ve sent Freo players a special pregame meal of Beef Wellington + made a special mushroom pâté. None of those dried mushrooms from a delicatessen, picked the mushrooms 🍄🟫 myself 😏

Extra tall forward is probably good for them against our undersized defence.

With both Darcy & Jackson in the team, they would have already had the ability to play the extra tall up forward

With Darcy out, Jackson will now do the bulk of the ruck work

Freo fans not happy

They also have a late change with Darcy out and Taberner in

That news hasn't gone down well around me
I wonder if that changes Geelong strategy? They were going to have blitz follow Jackson into defence. And then into ruck to pinch hit. But with Jackson playing now mainly ruck (I assume) that might change?

Maybe blitz goes back on the wing? Or will he play on Tavener? I don’t know much about him

Who knows

I'll keep an eye on how we line up for our final warm up but it'll be interesting to see what happens from here
