Hope we don't rush balta or short back
every injured player needs to come through the VFL on light duties as i'm over them being rushed on almost full game time as the injuries seem to rehappen. This implies they haven't reached full strength to match day conditions.

Would meehan be the one applying tape though?
He's in charge of them isn't he? It's just as bad as bringing injured players back out on the ground. Ross' stress fracture is down to the conditioning team too.

And I forgot about bringing players back into the side with no match conditioning in the VFL. That's on him too.

Gale is the AFL's lap dog, I have said it for years. I'm always going to be grateful for what Gale did dot the club but it's extremely obvious that Gale will never say anything detremental towards the AFL Cabal. It gives me the shits that he is so tight lipped while we are all seeing the cheating unfold before us. If we wait for Gale to stand up and grow a set of balls the club will be on it's knees.
Surely an ex umpire will comeout and confirm that the afl have it in for us.:drunk:

Whatever happened to the fundamentals like incorrect disposal, holding the ball and push in the back?
Only when it suits the corrupt bastard's agenda. The way it is now allows the cheats to control the momentum of the game.

I can't see any other reason for it.

If you watch VFL, it was perfectly obvious that Naismith is a decent player - but not a forward. Fair enough for him playing AFL as support for Nank, especially against Gawn, but neither of them are ruck/forwards. They are ruck or bench or filling a hole a kick behind play.
Given that they plonked Naismith forward for most of the game they are better off using Ryan.

Great seeing MRJ and Hugo breaking out. I'll admit Hugo surprised me.
I'm happy that they have persisted in playing Dow. He'll have good and bad games but he'll develop better in the AFL.

When it comes to match selection, some of our younger players will be getting better development opportunities in the VFL rather than AFL. Steely Green, Seth Campbell, Kaleb Smith, McAuliffe, Coulthard and probably Sam Banks. If possible they should all be given small blocks of AFL games then concentrate on developing their craft in the VFL.

Cumberland and Ryan should be in the same category as Ralphsmith, Dow, Sonsie where it is time for them all to develop in the AFL and show whether they are up to it or not.

When the teams are made so close through competative balance redistribution, rule changes, draft concessions (etc.), in theory the umpires play a bigger role on the day.

Do you know if it is the same injury?
No but the point I’m making is that whilst he may have demonstrated he was over the injury, it’s more about match fitness and getting his body up to speed with being thrown into the heat …

Reckon a game in the vfl first would have been a better option…

Ryan has been playing decent footy and Kozi responded well to being dropped as did Sonsie

Wouldn’t even consider bringing in Cumbo until he actually has a block of consist half decent games at vfl level
So far this year he’s been so poor giving him the nod would be a massive mistake and sending the wrong message

Green might be a decent option as well before Sonsie
Cumberland hasn't been poor, just not that good. His pressure and tackling is good, had maybe 8 tackles yesterday, just not as dangerous as we have seen him. Some of his opportunity has been taken up by Ryan, Kosi, May all tall forwards leaving him roving rather than going for his marks, which was one of his stronger attributes. That would be team instruction. The small grounds make it hard for small forwards.

the competitive balancing mechanism will result in the max exodus of afl fans if most clubs are eventually touched by it

weve lost millions of dollars already from Richmond supporters becoming alienated from the sport because of the afl's actions after our dynasty
