Yep great win by the RDNFL. Nepean let down by poor conversion but at no stage did the locals concede against more fancied opposition. Petrol tickets well and truly spent by red time in the last but toughed it out. Rep footy at its best.Very well coached today by Matt power. A very well executed plan got us the win we had to have today in a game we apparently had no chance of winning!!!!!
Next year I hope that people in the crowd aren't so petrified in cheering for our boys. .... i did and received strange looks all day. This is a much bigger win than any of u realise
Fantastic win by the RDFL boys. Can someone please explain how the 29th ranked team was drawn against the 13th ranked team though. Sensational effort. Was a cracking game of footy today from both sides!! High quality game and a great result for the RDFNL, well done to everyone involved today and also to Hollywood and the 19s who were fantastic also and just fell short by 11 points.
My best for the day were Mills, Sullivan, Harrison, Tessari.

So where will the RDFL be ranked for next year.? This result may create a bit of a quandary for administrators? The opponent for each side withdrew from the competition, rather than adjusting the draw across the board, the VCFL just put the two up against one another.
Greats reward for Corey vianni his worked hard over the last two years and a great kid
I think it's 30th June always has beenWhen does the clearance window close ?

Who you trying to get??
You were close.. about 83 points out mate.. good guess though..I'm tipping the other mob by about 80 points
Probably the most balanced team we've had .. matched the opposition really well leading into the game and it showed on the scoreboard..Very weak team. Thought we had more talent than this in the Riddell league. Hope I'm wrong and they impress though!
I'm hearing advice from his club may have cost dave Caccamo his career???? Any truth keston that both players versions of events were the same but he was made to plead guilty at the hearing by the club?????? I'd be devastated to lose my career for exchanging a few jumper punches if true!!!!! Regardless, I wasn't there but I wish caccs all the best for his life after footy. He was a gun in his day and a likeable guy away from the footy scene
Didn't they used to call his old man "Slippery" Viani? His old man would have been rapt. Is he a small quick player like his old man?
Well done to young Corey,,
Didn't they used to call his old man "Slippery" Viani?
More for his escapades off field than on!
Why do you think I'd or anyone else would care that "you don't know what I mean by this"?I don't know what you mean by this, other than he did "slip" through a lot of tackles. His is a top bloke on field and off field..Well did like to kick a goal and celebrate though.
No need to reply "Bang" as it's not about his old man but more about the achievement of young Corey..
We need to be getting rid of players who hit late, in packs, use elbows or hit from behind/off ball, not a few jumper punches surely..
I wasn't there either or watch much RDFL but in some leagues umpires are a bit quick on some things. In the WRFL they report or send players off quickly which can cause frustrations but in the EDFL they let a bit go as long as it's not a dirty act. They seem to control things well though and come in quick but have a good feel for the game.. Let's be real it's a physical game and some things will cause reactions and show of strength but reports and send offs should be for cheap shots, dirty or low acts..
I don't know this player just giving my opinion on how some umpires seem to react..
