Has anyone in the RDT gone electric cars yet?
Curious as to actual numbers.
It's definitely on the to-do list. Keen to get a Tesla Model Y, but my current Mopmobile has only done 56000ks and runs like a dream. The smart play is to let the electrics come down.

The govt has recently dropped Fringe Benefits Tax on novated leases involving electrics. Depending on the terms of your novated lease, you could be making a significant savings under this arrangement, as your repayments will all be pre-tax.

But in commuting terms, that cost is for around 5.5hours of driving per week.Well My sister used to live near Canning Bridge train station. She didnt have to Travel far to get to work. All she had to do to reach work, is drive her V8 for 10 minutes to Canning Bridge train station, get off one or 2 stations later and her work site is literally across the road from the train station.
V8's just sound like the car is farting loudly (which it kinda is)

I would like to buy an electric car next but cant justify the cost so will probably get one more ICE vehicle and convert over in a few years.
