The Reality is that no player wants to play for the MFC. That hurts. Dont be fooled, we have chased Cloke, we have chased Wellingham, we have chased Goldsack, we have chased Knights, Monfries, Pearce, Gumbelton, Boak & Dawes. Even a 19 year old with 2 years under his belt (Caddy) REFUSED to meet with us! What does that say? I tell you what it says, it says that we have no choice but to draft more kids & develop our own until we become a more attractive club to play for. Save that 'money chest' until we can grab a 'Patton' type in the next 4 years. We have lost 5 experienced players that we will not replace next year. We are in massive strife. Dont be fooled.

We've chased Cloke who re-signed with his club, shafting a number of others. We're still chasing Wellingham who is as likely to return home to WA. We haven't chased Goldsack (or at least nothing's been made of it whatsoever). We haven't chased Knights, Pearce, Gumbleton, Boak or Dawes, and who knows what Monfries is thinking other than Port are probably offering more money to travel back to, like Wellingham, his home state. And Caddy's a figjam so I don't give a **** what he thinks. And we currently have lost one experienced player, and I wouldn't mind you listing the other four.

That says that your ignorance and pessimism is deluding you.
