Finally a foot soldier that can chip in both ways. Liking his tackle stats and he pops up for 20+ every now and then. Got to be an improvement and this is the sort of guy you want in your worst 6 players to get back in finals.

Was at the game this year when he got injured. Seeing the way the the team got around him then rallied after he was injured you could see how highly regarded he was! Looking forward to having a hard man in the middle.

Disappointed to see Reece go. One of the nicest blokes you will ever meet. A terrific clubman. He is one of the hardest workers you will find. Always does the little team things. The blocks, the shepherds, 1%'s, is one of the first to stick up for teammates in a scuffle or get around them when they kick a goal.

Skillwise he is okay without being great. His kicking can be a little hit and miss but his hands are elite. He is much better in a contested situation that he is in space. He has some linebreaking ability and an explosive first couple of steps but isn't overly quick. His ability to find space in confines quarters was probably second at the Tigers behind Shane Edwards. Little deft sidesteps, or cutting sharply etc, his tactical nous in congestion is first class. As others have said, his defensive side of his game is elite. Never stops chasing, harrassing and tackling and is a solid two way runner.

Obviously has a long injury history, and his skills can be hit and miss, but you are getting a competitive beast who gives 110% to the club on and off the field. Will be an excellent role model to the younger kids on work ethic and what being a clubman is all about.

Excellent pick up for you guys.

Hopefully he has more luck staying on the park with you guys. I always felt that if this guy had some continuity at the highest level he would get better and better. Good luck Reecey boy!

The thing is with this pick-up it seems uninspiring to some because of the type of role he plus.

After picking up Hogan and maybe one or two quality picks/trades this looks like the icing on the cake.

The way we evaluate this depends heavily on what our final list lodgement is.
