Haileybury defeated Xavier by 3 goals, scoreline 13.8.86 to 10.8.68.
Haileybury dominated and the scoreline does not reflect this, they kicked the first 7 goals and led by 43 points during the second quarter. Xavier never looked a chance, although they did get to within 16 points at the start of the final quarter but Haileybury got it back out to about 5 goals for most of the remainder of the match.

Who won out of Scotch and Geelong?
 
Yeh, just returned from the Haileybury game, Xavier were very good in defeat and never gave up. Scoreline probably didn't reflect Haileybury's dominance, but a win is a win in finals.

It's going to be a massive game next week, if Haileybury win then its a three was tie for the premiership, but because Haileybury won it last year (last two years actually), then they retain the cup and share the premiership with Geelong and Scotch. If Scotch win, then they win the premiership outright. But if Haileybury defeat Scotch and Geelong lose to Xavier then Haileybury wins it outright because they beat Scotch.

By the way, all this talk about schools having school spirit and getting large amounts of supporters, well today Haileyburys crowd would have out numbered Xaviers crowd 2:1 ratio. Xavier claim to have great school spirit but it didnt show today boys, was actually quite disappointing because we were looking forward to playing in front of a big crowd, but the only supporters there were Haileyburys.

yeah take note it was being played in keyborough when xavier played haileybury at xavier, the xavs outnumbered haleybury 50:1 if not more that is no exageration

School spirit... your joking! That is possibly the worst comment the Big Footy website has ever seen. I cant believe you just said that haileybury have more school spirit than xavier... or any other school.
They can buy talent but they cant buy spirit.
Haileybury had the home game and their total supporter count would have been around 50 people. That was their HOME GAME!
Xavier had a home game last week against scotch and the xavier supporters would have been easily 500+ and scotch pulled a fair crowd aswell...
Also how many xav supporters would you expect to go out to keysborough... i mean come on. i think it is clear who has school spirit and who doesnt... worst comment ever Irony
 
Irony u are a joke. the day haileybury have any sort of school spirit will be the day j.mcgrath picks up. so never. :thumbsdown: u can buy all the talent u want but when people look back in the history books nobody will count haileyburys premierships, nobody respects you. nobody ever will.

Pffft, Hailebury have no school spirit what so ever, they just buy, buy, buy, buy and think they will win but Scotch are going to destroy them again and win the flag ad although I hate Scotch, it is better than seeing those Haileybury hacks win it.

Xavier College will win it in 2007 with Tim Allman leading from the front.
 
Its alright ladies, dont get jealous because we beat Xavier by 20 points without 5 of our starting 18 who will all be back this week. We all know that Haileybury had far more supporters at the game than Xavier did, and when the going got tough Xaviers players and supporters were no where to be seen.

This week SCOTCH can have as many supporters as they like, means jack sh1t cause Haileybury will still belt them on the scoreboard and in crowd numbers. They are predicting about 300 minimum Haileybury supporters out their and Scotch might get a few supporters aswell, not including borders who are their anyways!

xavier played haileybury at a home game ealier in the yr... xavs drew a massive crowd, the only reason xavs didnt have many supporters at the game last week was because the game was in some random place outside of a little thing i like to call civilization... its a fair hike

Haileybury supporters will not go chons with us.
Haileybury has the worst school spirit in the APS.
