Win Prizes Richmond Bigfooty Podcast- Expressions of Interest

Hi Everyone,

We have been discussing recently the possibility of getting a Richmond Bigfooty podcast up and running. I know we have a whole bunch of pretty clued in Tigerheads around here and I for one would love to hear some of you come together to discuss all things Richmond.

The plan would be to run a weekly podcast during the season and around trade week etc and Chief will give us the Bigfooty tick of approval and access to upload to itunes etc.

So what we need is one person clued in enough to host/record & edit the podcast and then a rotating panel of guests to fill in the 2nd and 3rd slot on the show, you would be free to discuss anything footy related you want and we could tee up some oppo supporters to really bring discussions to life.

The most important thing we need first up is someone with the knowhow or willingness to learn how to record and edit it.

I won't lie - I am interested but could we not just affiliate Richmond TT and make them the official podcast? They more or less run the same schedule proposed and already have a solid listenership. Also, there are already three Richmond podcasts; do we need a fourth? What place in the market will it fill?

Sadly, as far as Australian "comedians" go, he isn't the only one. Especially the ones that seem to constantly pollute our TV screens.

My vote's here too - make Nick and Andy the Bigfooty podcast. They can record and edit it.

I tried the third Tiger podcast but it wasn't as entertaining as the club propoganda one or as insightful as Nick and Andy, so I just didn't listen to it again. I didn't dislike it. It just wasn't compelling and maybe I only have enough podcast listening time in my week for 2 Richmond podcasts.

We are Richmond! Why wouldnt we have four podcasts when we have four fan forums (unlike some clubs who cant maintain enough interest for ONE - looking at you norf!!!)

Jokes aside your suggestion makes sense because (1) it allows us to.leverage off of your experience, and (2) it means you now have a bench to use - meaning it doesnt have to just be you two when RL shit comes up

This is all contingent on you two being happy with the move, as you both have your own style for the pod that you have developed. Reality is new voices will see this evolve into something else over time

Good point! RodneyDangerfield is an added draw card. And who wouldn't want to listen to ThisIsAnfield annoy the shit out of Goldust with positive thoughts?

I don't listen to the club propaganda one as I rather critical analysis which I think both Richmond TT and the SEN one gives. Common these starting though...
