Why is the media not talking about Richmond having the dodgiest fixture ever this year?

Barely played at their homeground for the first 16 rounds (6 out of 16) and when they did it was against other MCG tenants. Didn't get to play at their homeground for a month at one point. Meanwhile Geelong barely leave their home ground that no one else gets to play at regularly and when they do they travel an hour to the MCG. easiest fixture in the league each year and they still complain and cry about everything richmond

almost like gil and hocking wanted the tigers to drop too far down the ladder to make finals or at least top 4 before their run home at the G

thoughts?

I think you are trolling.

nah have a look, one of the worst 16 weeks of fixturing you would ever see. if collingwood had that fixture to start the year instead of playing nearly every week at the mcg then old mate eddie would've been in meltdown and rightfully so

Oh Sterge you really are a dull tool in the shed.
Games in Geelong:9 ergo home games: 9

Educate this silly fellow STPer18

I just checked the fixture, confirmed Geelong are named as the home team in 11 games.

But only 9 of them are in Geelong (which you know). How many home games do Richmond play in China and Ayers Rock?

What's even worse is Richmond converting a Geelong home final into their own. If they wanted that right they should've finished higher on the ladder $$$$

The same number Geelong do, How many of your 11 home games are played against fellow tenants?

???

We only have 9 home games in Geelong. We are forced to play our other 13 games in Melbourne and interstate.

Never quite understood the supposed favouritism.

The 4 interstate sides with co-tenancy get 12 games a year on their home ground - we get 14 at the MCG. A whole 2 extra games.

Except for 10 of the 12 games at their home ground, those interstate sides get a genuine home ground advantage in 10 of them.

We have 3 (and it took till round 16 to have our first one).

Geelong get 9 real home games. Richmond get 8 at the G against non tenants. Then they get 5 games at the G against shared tenants -where you are a 50-50 chance( or neutral), then they get finals on their home ground. So you are doing ok. Better than us -probably only the pies get a better deal than tiges.

Geelong have the best home ground advantage in footy there was like a 200 page thread on it, can't believe you missed it.

It's basically a scientific fact

Commercially, Richmond have the best fixture I’ve seen since Collingwood 2010. Home games against every team that play home games at the MCG is a dream come true money wise.

Their fixture is unbalanced, but nothing to really complain about and I’ve seen a a lot worse over the years.

The sooner we get to the situation where you can only play at the same ground for 2 consecutive weeks, the better.

Rightio- because people on bf say so? is that you’re logic? Good one I am convinced then.
Well if you consider our home ground advantage is the ‘best’-logic follows that Geelong is disadvantaged every time they play away from K.Park.
Which we do 14 times this year. That’s more than anyone else in the comp.
You should all be very grateful that you are given such a big leg up over the cats each year. Lucky you.

So we by your logic we only get 8 “real” home games because we only have a true home game advantage Teams that we don’t share the ground with
