Baz seems like a pretty humble dude whose already ingrained in the group and seems to be best mates with everyone at the club. I think he’ll stick around

I am worried he gets an offer he can't refuse from Hawthorn, Geelong or North at seasons end. Hope he sticks around with us for life.
I would argue he’s far from humble. Baz knows he’s flipping good and def has maaaaany tickets on himself.Baz seems like a pretty humble dude whose already ingrained in the group and seems to be best mates with everyone at the club. I think he’ll stick around
My worry with Baz is less the financial/"fitting in" side and more the marketing potential side. As Bev said, Baz wants to be the best in the game and he loves a bit of camera time. If a big club comes a-knocking (and they will), I fear the pull of 100k+ members may be too great.Baz seems like a pretty humble dude whose already ingrained in the group and seems to be best mates with everyone at the club. I get he plays like that, definitely has plenty of white line fever, but the impression I get from him off field and from interviews is a pretty reserved and humbled guy. I don’t know the bloke so wouldn’t have a clue if that’s true or not but just the impression I get from himI would argue he’s far from humble. This is certainly not a bad thing in a more ‘reserved’ group like ours. We need some cheek and attitude. He has that in spades.
And yet he said he sometimes suffers from self-doubt and at one stage Dale Morris was giving him moral support. He is also very driven and a perfectionist, which if overdone can lead to problems.I would argue he’s far from humble. Baz knows he’s f*n good and def has maaaaany tickets on himself.

Hawks are the one that would be having a red hot crackIf you’re Baz and you want to be the best player in the game in 2-3 years. Sticking around and playing with Bont, Macrae, English, Naughton and Jamarra will make it a lot easier than chasing money at a worse club who only thing going for them has a rich history and financial muscle.
Hawks are the only one that scare me. In my opinion he wouldn't go to Dons, Collingwood, Cats ect. I reckon it's either us or Hawks. But you're right they'll be having a massive crack at him.Hawks are the one that would be having a red hot crack
I could honestly see the Hawks offering Baz the Captaincy. McEvoy isn't getting any younger and they are desperate for a good leader. If you manage to get a player like Bailey Smith to your club then you can build a team around him.
I'll be sad to see him go but I'll always cherish the time we had with him. Hopefully one day when he's completed Hawthorn's next dynasty and is almost ready to retire he will come back to the kennel for a season or two. There's something quite lovely about the idea of him finishing back where it all began, at our little club.
Regardless of which club he chooses to go to I will follow his career with interest and I'll always have a soft spot for him (except when he plays against us, of course).
not enoughOk. Three first round picks then.

Good to hear mate, really does give off that impression off field so I’m glad it’s true.Baz is a really nice humble guy, took my cousin to a training session, he really wanted to meet Bont who was fine (signed his cap and said hi for 5 seconds) but Baz had a 15min chat to us, only left because a trainer called him in. This was just before COVID. Best bloke on the team imo, Dunks was also exceptionally nice (talked to a couple for 10 or so mins and us for 5) - i know his not the favourite on the board atm but was very kind with his time also.
Bailey was massive in the first half and very good overall.
I think even some of our own guys got out of the way when they saw him coming.
