Hey mate, got some feedback for you.

Spot on with the rucks. I see your point regarding Carlton premium players not playing in the GF, but I still think you will need them to get to GF if you know what I mean. If you are weekly coming up against someone who has Gibbs in the backline and Judd in the midfield you will be at a huge disadvantage. I would say start with them and phase them out. We do have extra trades this year. I would drop Broughton for Gibbs personally.

I am tossing up Higgins as well. He can score very well when fit but has had injury issues. As a dogs supporter I can tell you that he has had a good pre-season but my heart sinks everytime I see him on the ground.

Your forward line is good, but keep in mind Petrie will miss Round 1,3 and another bye that North have (can't remember when). This means you will be without a forward for 3 games this year. I also noticed you don't have a MF/FW in your midfeild so that you can cover him. Very risky. Every year I struggle with at least 1 doughnut throughout the year, the byes will make this a nightmare. I would recomend Bewick for I. Smith so you can address this.

Everitt is an intresting one. There will be no Kennelly or Malceski, so he might be one to consider.

I wouldn't have both Stanley and Toy in the same backline, espically with your backline tactic. Maybe try Pupolo ?

Definetly better options out there than Boyd and Jack. Boyd I would consider leaving though, he's had a good couple of season and has just been named captain.You are paying quite a lot for Jack and he has really only had 1 season at the top . My reasoning is to only pay top price for someone who has proved themselves over at least 2 season, so you know it's not a one off. Considering you have a bit of money in the bank, I would upgrade to Swan. I would get rid of Pendelbury (two premiums from one team in same position) and upgrade Petrie to a premium forward (S. Johnson/Rioli).

AFaiL, you have Z Smith named as a fwd rookie, I think you mean I Smith? Not sure if he's in Hawthorn's 22 tbh. Tapscott as a fwd rookie is being talked up by Melbourne as playing across the half back line, been in the system for a year and if named round 1 should be another good rookie option up in the fwds.

$400k is probably too much to have lying around, might aswell use that money to upgrade Jack to a proven premium like Judd or Swan. Could also use that coin to upgrade one of your back rookies to Gibbs.

Backline is pretty standard.

Forward line is a bit light on, couldn't find any value at the top end, question marks on Goodes (been played fwd in preseason, with Bradshaw injured will probably play fwd again, didn't score well as a pure fwd last season), Rioli (not sure if he will be unleashed as a midfielder, preseason didn't reveal much) or Pavlich (getting a bit old), Higgins is also a worry with his injury history and is at an awkward price. Would prefer to spend more to get a 4th quality mid than speculate on a 4th fwd, anything wrong with this mindset? Cheers

Midfielders....there's a 50/50 chance the Hodge might not play i seen him run around the pack last week for Box-hill only played 1/2 a game and didn't see the much of the pill. and Buckley i had him in my team but i went for someone else who i thought might get some more games then him.
Rucks.....look good but why do u have J.Tippet? i dont think hes going to get a game i think he is still on G.C rookie list! only but him in your team if u have D.Petrie in your forward line as there both MPP and u can swap them around .
and as for your Forward line i this its pretty good

My only criticism is that you have 2 players from the same club in the same positions multiple times. (Franklin + Rioli, Swan + Pendles, Selwood + Bartel)
So when Hawthorn, Collingwood and Geelong have byes you might be in some trouble.

and your RUCKS ... you cant go wrong with the twin towers there a lock in!!

Just my 2cents. your Backline is very Light on. I suggest downgrading a midfielder then upgrading to some better quality backline players. for Tippett take out keefe . Just remeber balance is key!

Reckon you might need a couple more premiums in that backline though.
