Dimma correctly acknowledgeing Cumbers commitment, diligence and hard work to get him where he is

Dimma said…that’s all on Noah…he side serves it all…always Carrie’s his notep…watches the tapes…asks questions…well done Cumbers
yet they didnt allow him to debut mid season cos he didnt listen to dimma

Pickett gonna get done for sending that bloke to the hospital even though it was a total nothing incident

will also cop another week for the robinson hit

MRO hates pickett
Picketts gone back into wafl mode.
1st qtr he goes the bump twice in the same play ended up a goal to them.If the 1st bump connected it would've been head high and reportable.
Then he does that to Robinson.Thats ok if your 10 goals up but we weren't.

First off let me say that was one of the best wins we've had since 2020 and after the previous 3 weeks it was great to run over the top of a side that was well in control at half time and build some belief back into the side. However the first half asks more questions of just where we're at when it comes to being a serious threat come the finals. We were opened up at will by the Lions who waltzed the ball out of our F50 and into their F50. Our back 6 were all over the shop trying to get their match ups right, our mids were second to the ball and up forward we couldn't get anything going.

Even though we flicked the magnets around in the second quarter we still couldn't make any in roads and at half time it was pretty much season over. For mine the first move that made a difference was swapping Baker and Short around after Short was torn a new one in his move back to defence, then at half time the move to send Balta back to D50 after he developed frostbite in the first half and it could have been the end of us when Grimes went down but the move to put Daniel on to Cameron and make Cameron have to be accountable for a dangerous rebounding defender. It also meant that Maurice got introduced into the game which added some much needed pressure to our F50 which stopped the Lions defenders from being able to simply walk out of our F50.

At 3/4 time I honestly thought we'd spent our petrol tickets and would get ran over again, but we dug deep and I have no doubt that Dimma played the Edwards card at the last break to ask the team to find something extra again and to their credit they did and gave Edwards a fitting ending to his 300th.

My votes for today

5. D.Rioli
4. Cumberland
3. Prestia
2. Cotchin
1. Lynch

Honourable mentions to Sonsie Pickett Bolton & McIntosh
Totally agree with your summarization. Would go futher and say, structually, Balta must play back. i understand the issues with Lynch being out, but we look so much structually sound with him in defence.

Lynch covered 14.2km today.
absolutely phenomenal.
kamdyn first with 15.2km.
graham next with 14.8km, mcluggage next with 14.4km.
Baker 5th with 14km.
absolutely massive from Tom to almost outrun the midfielders.

Fantastic full ground pressure helped by the best balanced side we've had all season, thanks to - ironically - Grimes' injury. A handful of positional changes had a big say in it too, but it was the formally non-existent effort and intent that caused Brisbane to fall apart.

Once we started hunting them relentlessly it was a completely different game. Surely Balta and Baker stay back for the rest of the year with Miller as second ruck? Is this game gives the young guys belief and the experienced guys renewed hunger we may just scrape in.

Not confident of Grimes being be back this year. As long as he's not replaced by yet another tall defender we may just be okay.

Just watched the 2nd half. Wow big lynch is so important to our structure, thought balta was OK and should be a permanent defender now. Wasn't sure on young Morris rioli but I now think he has the tools to be a very good player
