If Astbury is ok to come in id bring him in, i like the potential versatility of our backline with Grimes/Astbury/Balta/Broad/Vlastuin....

Plenty of intercepting power in that group as well as the ability to switch match ups. Having Astbury for the bigger bodied forwards allows Balta to become more of a pure interceptor that peels off their 3rd forward, which could be absolutely huge for us.

Not the only WCE lurker around here either. I feel genuinely weirded out by the fact they’re flocking this deep into our autopsy threads. They’re showing more interest in our games than most of us are.

I live in WA and WC fans are obsessed with Richmond and putting an * on 17 and 19.

They push the line that the only "genuine" flag between 15 and 19 was 18 (of course lol).

He’s played a variety of different roles since arriving and I reckon arrived as a small forward.

You’d think if he played as a small forward now he’d be better at it than he was 18-24 months ago as a result of being in the system and improved endurance.

Reckon he’s worth a look at in that position is very good by foot and reads the play so well

Also our other small forwards are absolutely stinking it up can’t just continue with blind faith assuming they’ll eventually turn the corner

Not a big fan of dropping after one game, rather replace Rioli and in RCD or Ross (in the middle) and find somebody to take Rioli's place.
I'd consider Markov for Rioli as a lead up forward and pressure player, point of difference in a forward line that needs something different.

If Dusty could play big minutes in the middle then we don't need RCD. But he hasn't been in great form.
But with Aarts, Egg, Chol, Balta, it's an inexperienced team in places.
