He signed a 7 year / $9m contract that was heavily back-ended. It is closer to $2m next season than $1m

Been saying it for a while standards dropped at the club bigtime no denying that from recruitment to drafting, to fitness and conditioning, development of kids, staff leaving and not replaced of the same calibre, leadership and captaincy etc.Football department needs a revamp.

Interesting observation from someone who watches training about standard's not the same as before.

"Doing drills, not nailing them and letting it go rather than calling them back and making them do it again until they got it right. Little things escalate into big things.Things like this didn't happen in our successful year's."

You get 6 double ups this season. Approx odds are you get 3 from the top half of the ladder, and 3 from the bottom half. Getting 5 from the top half is pretty stiff. We aren’t good enough regardless, but Bombers double ups include 16th, 17th and 18th … and they’re still not making finals, just like us.

The reason some of them are top half because they played us. Even comp, so wouldn't say we were disadvantaged too much.
Only played 3 of the top 5 once.

Nope - he looked shattered at the fact most of the squad didn’t show up (again)
Just said it was poor all round
Too many uncontested marks
Lack of pressure
Lack of tackling
