Should get nothing, he was mid flight and being held by one arm by a NM player. Could not control his rotation and his other elbow collided with Power.
Even the commentators mentioned that he kept his arm into his body and did everything he could to lessen the impact.
Just an unfortunate accident. Running into Rooke must be like being hit by a brick wall. Glad it wasn't me!

With his other arm being held, the two legal options he had were: 1) Tucking his arm in (like he did), or 2) Opening himself right up Jesus Christ crucifixion style and getting absolutely pole axed.
Noone would choose option 2, he did what he had to do.

In all seriousness though I think he'll get weeks. Probably 1-2. Accidental and one arm held by his opponent causing him to twist, but I think with the head high contact he will get a minor suspension.

secondly was going to make a thread on this board about Max Rookes hit lol i didnt think he meant to hit him was just unfortunate - warranted a 50metre penalty i thought which wasnt given but would be stiff to go for that - its hard to just stop in mid flight!

I'll need to see the replay but it appears there's some bias showing here.
No attempt at the spoil, instead just tucked the arm in and went through him. Might have got him high, certainly high impact and definitely negligent or reckless.

I totally agree. It was extremely clumsy, though exacerbated by his North opponent holding onto him.
I still believe he will get a week or so, and they'll take it. Another week they can continue to play Prismall to hopefully keep him interested or raise his profile further.
IMO Rooke to get 2 weeks, downgraded to 1 with early plea.

Cowardly? Max Rooke and the word "Coward" should never be associated, however, your name and the word "dopey" should most certainly be used frequently.
You really need to look up the definition of coward, dopey!

I don't think it should be too serious, high contact? maybe, high impact? no. Power was up and playing later, so he wasn't concussed, which you would get if it was high contact -high impact and the tribunal/MRP have to take injury into account. Seemed to me to be more winded than anything, which is, or at least should be, no crime. Prolly get a week though.

From a North supporter's perspective I couldn't care less if he gets off or gets three weeks. That incident didn't get 50 and it left us one down for about 60 seconds during which time you guys kicked a goal. Rubbish decision.

Honestly shouldn't even get to the tribunal, but no doubt it will. If he gets anything, he is extremely unlucky.

I couldn't see, but did Power take the mark before the contact? If not, it's just a free. If he marked it first, it should have been 50.
