Most teams have put in the hard yards for the year and the rookies have shown themselves. Not a lot will change from here on in.

So candidates for offensive and defensive rookies of the year, present yourself.

Gurley deserves it on offense, games he has missed might count against him some though. Winston just over Cooper out of the rest of them for me but that could change. Lockett and Karlos Williams the best of the rest for me in what has been a very ordinary WR class and overall shallow depth across the board this year. (albeit White going down with injury)

On defense ive been really impressed with Marcus Peters from KC at CB, everyone talking bout Ronald Darby with the Bills but i like Peters better. Hell do me on what looks to be the raffle for DROY

Gurley is more prolific in Fantasy Football. Idiot writers not liking Winston due to the crab leg incident. He'll win it for sure.

DPOY will be a little weird with no prolific players. Peters and Darby have been exceptional at DB however you don't really be a famous DB unless you are a Sherman, Norman, Harris or Talib and shut down their top receivers. DBs don't win DROP either so no clue how the writers will vote.

Going to go with Peters considering the writers are lazy and will go the better defense.

No huge standouts really. Mariota has been solid. Gurley tore it up for a bit and missed games. Then Peters, Darby and Randall are probably the only defensive players. With Peters and Darby just ahead of Randall.

I still think Cooper will get OROY. Gurley and Mariota missed games. Winston had some dreadful games. Cooper had over 1000yds, could of had 1100-1200 if he was healthy for the last 2 games

First pass was a Pick-6 and was out played by Marriota in that game. 2INT and 2 fumbles in that game, The first time he was on primetime didnt do much.

15INT also with 6 fumbles, only 2 games with 300+yds passing both they lost by 2 or more scores.

Don't know but it's odd.

Can Winston have beenbetter without Smith ( readers of 1984 will chortle), ie did he do what he did in spite of Smith or because of him.

QB is one of the positions closest to the head coach so if one part goes, what does it say about the player, especially a rookie.
