Probably more that Sturt wouldn't have played - he probably would have wheeled Ballas back out

Like I say, I think he would have won the game, but maybe at the expense of youth development. I'm happy to see as many new kids play this year as possible because I reckon we are one full season away from being really competitive. Unfortunately this may not be that season

Maybe. Irrelevant though. And if that is all that turned up for the season it wouldn’t be enough, he would be gone, so we are better off with Longmuir in the seat.

Watching some of our 2013 season is like a gateway to a parallel universe. Boom time Perth featuring ferocious, intimate Subi crowds, players in the prime of their careers, a younger Ross Lyon comandeering a power ship.

Compared to where the world is right now, hard not to get emotional..
