Going to miss the game as I'll be at football training. At least the first half anyway. Worried I'll come home to a bit of a slaughter. If we can clog the game up and really limit their run we are a decent chance though. Must start well which does seem to be happening recently

I won't be surprised if we get butchered by the umps tonight. Port were slaughtered by them last week so they'll most likely get a favourable run tonight as a result, plus add in the home crowd to the equation.

Port will try and blow us early. If w can weather the storm and frustrate their one way runners by denying them the ball we will make it interesting.

Wingard is a big out for them, particularly with no Stratton. Their backline looks susceptible if we can get it in there enough.

Sicily, Bruest and Poppy are the keys. If those three can kick 6 or so between them and we get our usual spread from the other forwards we are a chance.

Win or lose this is a great chance for Burton, Brand, Dimma, Dallas, Howe and Cuz to get some invaluable experience in a hostile environment.

Looking to see how well Shiels goes backing up what was almost a career best game. Another quality 25-30 touches and 6 tackle effort would be very handy.

I thin this could be an odd game. Given how we have performed to date, our third quarter malaise and their preferred speed game, you would expect them to start fast, a tighter second quarter and then them to run away in the latter part of the game but I see it tight to the last quarter and us prevailing through being more efficient and controlled. A tough game but Hawks by 8
