I think Yze saw 3 huge INs off the injury list; didn't have to manage anyone other than Dusty. Not gunna debut a MS draftee. Kosis the present

No other backline OUTS so Smith , looks like a player but was never going to stay in.

Smith deserved his opportunity. His VFL form had been good, he’s built up to this.
We should be developing our kids, instead of rewarding the likes of Short who is playing with zero intensity.
You bring him in, play him as sub, drop him the next week after 7 minutes of game time.

No qualms with being ruthless and agree games should not be gifted.
Yet we have routinely gifted games to Graham, Pickett, McIntosh and Short, most of whom have been less than mediocre this season, and in some cases, two or three seasons.
It's personal.
