Holding Cripps- glad I brought Brayshaw in as cover now!

Bringing back ZWilliams paid off last night, unfortunately giving Jelly the VC didn't :( Still will take a 105 when being tagged every week.

Feeling pretty comfortable that Dangerfield goes large tonight anyway.

Take the Clarke 63 boys or role on setterfield who’ll play a more prominent mid role with no Cripps??
Setters usually doesn't have any problems finding a decent amount of footy, just his DE lets him down.

I'd say his floor is around 50, could easily pull out a 75-80+ though. I'd roll the dice.

Could easily pull out 75-80+ ? Like he has done 0/9 games so far this year?
Has scored 37 and 29. That suggests to me his floor is a bit lower then 50.

You are harshly overselling Setterfield there. Dudes a spud.

Only thing i can see - may get more mid minutes with Cripps out. Outside of that, dudes s***

The report on the Carlton website suggests that he might miss next week as well.
Well this certainly takes away my Pendles dilemma. Gotta hold until official reports come out. Hanners will be cover from next week barring any hiccups.

Yeah, shocking to suggest that someone who has averaged 65 since coming back into the team after building up his tank in the VFL earlier in the season could score 10 more points with more midfield time.

18, 24 (Most of any Carlton player) and 18 disposals since his return. Kicks more than he handballs. Plenty of positive aspects to his game that could translate into a decent SC score if he hits targets.

Take Setters. Worth the risk, could fluke a hundred, worst case you lose 10-15 points

I'm holding Cripps for now.
Just don't understand why track watchers etc didn't notice there was a problem with hm.
He looked a bit tired and banged up at the end of the dogs name but thought he'd overcome any niggles.
I'll be waiting on next week as maybe they didn't want to risk Crippa on the hard Optus surface.

My midfield upgrade was to trade out young Walsh, but now have to wait a week and see what happens.

Logue is an in, for whom I don't know yet have 3 candidates to choose from but all are playing except for maybe
Hore on the extended bench, if he misses out.
Don't really want to field Smith with his poor record against the cats.

Need to keep a watch on twitter and decide onmy defence by tonight it seems.

The game is poorer with recent going ons.
the main positive is that I get to see the mighty Nic Nat as have always been a fan of his.

Will watch the WCE midfielders closely tomorrow as if Cripps is truly going to be out for a while Yeo maybe a chance to
enter my side for Crippa who I've had since the beginning and has lost value despite having a mostly good year thus far.

Good luck to all SC coaches, and to all attending games this week, be interesting how crowds are with security etc
but the MCG generally has far superior staff to that of Marvel.

Crazy all this trade talk regarding Cripps!:drunk:
still a long way to go fellas...
surely you can take the 55-63 from Hately,Clarke or whatever Bewley,Rowbottom,Setterfield dish out this week.

Cripps is hard as nails and wont want to be held out again if he can push through it.
the bloke has more talent in his left nut than the rest of the Blues team and they will want him back asap.
wait for an update next week.

Yeah but you just stated the problem - hitting targets. He hasn’t really shown any ability to do that yet. + playing midfield his touches are going to be under the pump. I expect Freo’s older mids to make life tough for a young soft Setterfield

28 possessions is not alot. How come Brad Crouch doesn't average similar?
Kelly's points per possession are/were much lower than most.
SC kills you on turnovers and FA and clangers. BCrouch is a "jam it on the boot" player who has an ordinary DE%.

Did it last night ! .......wasn't going thru another Rockwhateverhisname situation ....1 becomes 2 becomes 3 ..plus I'm always concerned when an injury is the foot & Cripps is a big lad

So Danger to Cripps midfield spot ....and Boak into fwds, who has a strong Adelaide Oval run of games

Is there any reason why your trades couldn't have waited until after 5pm today when final teams for Sunday's games are confirmed? If Hore and Naish don't make their teams final 22's you'll be copping a doughnut in defence while Setterfield sits idly on your Mid bench.

Very surprising move coming from you Wayne, considering you only had 4 trades left (now 2) The percentage play would have been to either take Clarke's 63 mid E score or move Setterfield onto the field for Cripps and upgrade Milera to a proper def premo. It makes little sense to hold 'dodgy back' Milera then say that you couldn't take a chance on Cripps' injury stretching out to 3+. What if Adelaide aren't being completely honest about Milera's dynamic and ballistic lateral back movement?

What you just outlined makes so much more sense.

Its going to feel so good having Cripps as a POD in 3 weeks time :hearteyes:

Hahaha. Kelly went @ 64%. Would've scored 120+ if it wasn't a close game. Cd love child.
