North v Port will be very interesting.

Think we can declare whether the royal jumper is the new home guernsey based on this match here.

Port set up is no certainty either.

I went royal/royal v black/white.
i think it will be white/white v black/black

Agree. If North go royal here, couple with the royal Boomer jumper in an upcoming home game, I think they're showing their hand that they'd prefer a royal home kit.

Still think its bizarre that they'd prioritise shorts over a jumper, but whatevs.

Until they modify their home kit to increase the prominence of the back stripes and bring the stripes on the front right to the top I prefer the Royal Set up too.

North really need to widen the stripes on their white kit, or add one on each side panel. As they are now, they look way too thin and lost in the white base.

It's like they don't want them touching the cuffs, but Port Melbourne has stripes that touch the cuffs and it looks good. North should do the same.

By the same token though, I do like the Royal kit rather a lot.

Given how much Adelaide marketed the yellow before round 1 and how much North have worn the royal since then, I'm surprised North didn't wear it back then.

Selfishly, this is one reason I really don't want them to change to all royal at home. Living in Victoria, I now only get to see us in our home jumper at live games against two teams - North and Geelong. I'd really hate to see that reduced to one.

Always thought Adelaide had the most clashable kit...this confirms it

How so? The jumper's main colour is navy.
North in royal vs Crows in navy wouldn't be allowed as it's royal and navy and it's not a Big Vic team as the away team (eg North v Carlton).
"Most clashable kit" is proven by the fact that they can't wear it vs teams in red/yellow like GC and Hawthorn - the minor colours on the kit are deemed to cause a clash.

I'd prefer if North just embraced the white shorts.

But anyway, Bulldogs wore Royal (away) v Carlton this year... So surely Adelaide could wear Navy v Roos Royal.

Roos royal still has white on it, so Crows Navy is less of a clash. But AFL logic is non-existant so who knows.

I meant as in adelaide wear their clash kit more than any other club due to their home kit clashing with a lot of teams

You appear to disagree with the statement initially but then prove it to be right later on...I'm a touch confused with your opinion. Do you believe Adelaides home jumper causes the most clashes or not?

Were you being sarcastic? I'm really confused.
Everyone's playing Pokemon and Blink-182 are topping the charts. Old mate probably thinks it's 2000 again.

OK, I thought you meant the fact that the Crows wore navy vs Geelong and North, not the fact that they're pretty much the only teams the Crows don't wear clash to.

I thought the initial statement was "Crows wear navy vs North and Geelong, therefore they are very clashy". I disagreed with that, and then provided an example for what would prove the very clashy-ness. Crows wearing home vs North or Geelong doesn't prove that their home jumper is clashy, but having to wear clash vs teams that use the minor colours of the their jumper does (yellow/gold is a minor Crows jumper colour but they clash with a team that wears gold)

I think however that if all clubs were subjected to exactly the same rules for determining a clash the Crows would only be marginally ahead of other teams.
For example, Carlton only wear clash vs Adelaide Fremantle Melbourne Port St Kilda and WCE. I would argue they should also wear it vs Brisbane Collingwood Essendon GWS Richmond and WB. Reality 6 Ideally 12.
The Crows wear clash vs everyone except NM Geelong Port and Syd. Probably don't need it vs GC, arguably don't need it vs Hawthorn. Should wear it vs Port. Reality 13 Should be 12. It's pretty even.
