Another reason to despise Marvel Stadium, just in case there weren't enough already, if I am buying a general ticket to this weekend's game I can pick my own seats (I want aisle seats as I will possibly be taking the kiddo). If I am getting a member reserved seat I can't do this. The club have no access to Ticketmaster systems so can't help either.

Call Ticketmaster's number - they say they operate purely online and to go to your account online for help. Go to the help section on My Account - it has zero way of contacting anyone.

I hate that ****ing stadium so very much.

The greatest shithole of alltime.

Said I'd never return after the Scum loss this year.

MCG not much better recently

You can at least get the club to help out with MCG/Ticketek when you're a member. If the AFL wants more people going to matches maybe give fully paid up members the same access to choosing a ticket when they move our games away from their reserved seats at the MCG.

Interesting to hear Sam say that they’ve made DGB really work for it.
Yep at training he has definitely had close attention from our coaches. Asking him how he is going / What he is thinking after contests or a drill. We need him to succeed and we are doing everything possible to fast track him.

I find him a conundrum he's lethargic contest to contest(bit docile) but when he does go he GOES pedal to the metal, I've chalked this up to match fitness and rookie anxiousness maybe Sam thinks dangling the carrot is what he needs to break that wall.

Not sure how directly connect these are but he's fallen in the trap so many times trying to find body contact where he's either grappled them giving away a free or lost his opponent when they've made a second and third lead, just needs to back himself in with his aggression

Who was it that had a go at me for questioning Chad's durability at the start of the season ?
Me. As part of his physio therapy and rehab team.

You got this season right. Questioning his previous seasons was totally incorrect.

Only one possibly 2 players from his draft have been more durable across their career. Only a couple including Chad have hit 200.

You can pump your own tyres but as far as his history suggests you were blatantly wrong. Chad is a player who has always played with and through niggles.
At Port he tore his hamstring after not telling anyone he had strained it. Took a game winning long range shot at goal and ripped it clean as he wanted to fight through rather than putting his hand up.

Congrats on his recent soft tissue injury and hawthorns clear current mandate of not pushing players to play with niggles.

Agree 100%. Also when he started his career he seemed to go for the ball first as a forward would, now, even when he has a clear run at it he seems to want to find contact.

Sigh, would have loved some of you fans to have visited Footy Park or other shitholes over the years and then call Marvel bad. Hopefully we can get a decent crowd Sunday, we have the opportunity to get a win.

I'm not interested his 147 games he played at Port Adelaide tbh.

More interested in the sub 60 games he has played for us over a 4 year period after we traded large amounts for him.

Every club has bust trades though, we just have to move on I suppose.

He is only 28. And instead of having a go at Chad maybe we should be having a go at our fitness department in not ensuring we get best output.....

Our fitness staff records are relatively good, so I'll lay off them.
Our previous fitness staff literally taught Cyril how to run differently because of his hammy issues. What is this group doing to ensure that Chad can have a similar outcome?

Tall forward line.

Be interested to see the inside/outside mix with this side. Ward and Finn will likely do a bit of both. Interested to see whether Maca spends a bit of time there too

Really excited for Morris

Much needed around the ground as much as the forward 50. Big boy is a great in, I am still not sure Kosi is a true CHF moving forward. More suited to the J.Gunston type of role for mine.

I am wrapped for Morris. I like the bench these four young talents should be playing every week.

Curious to see if Dgb in, will free up Jiath for the wing?
