It'd make it simpler for everyone if they just came out and said to players you've got to keep your feet in the tackle. That if you don't keep your feet in the tackle and the tacklee's head hits the ground with any sort of impact, you'll get at least a week.

Lucky these barristers get some work for the club. No one in their right mind would hire them given their loss/success rate.

This dude hasn't come close to winning a single one either. We just keep taking L after L after L.

When do the L's stop? Goddamn.

Don't think it's the barristers fault here... Read the transcript... Sally Flynn or whoever appeared very biased.
SF: "So, you deliberately drove him into the ground?"
Caleb: "No, my foot slipped and I tried to soften the blow"
SF: "So, it was deliberate. You drove him into the ground?"
Caleb: "No."
- rinse & repeat -
Biased panel member Sally Flynn wins. [$$ AFL]

Take it higher.

Waste the AFL's time and money at the appeals board.

make them think twice about bullshit decisions that will just be overturned.

That's what the blues doo right?

I still argue that the player with the ball has a duty of care to themselves. (WHS laws dictate this, duty of care to self, others and organisation).

If the tackled player has a free arm, they SHOULD drop the ball to protect themselves.

No good blaming the lawyer. He was never getting off. Cerra's head hit the ground and Serong plays for Freo.
Meh, I put the finger at him. Most clubs have a win at tribunal recently, we haven't won one in years.

As soon as they throw in potential to cause injury it's pretty much over. Nearly every tackle and bump in football has potential to cause injury. Ah well.

This actually hurts my fantasy and supercoach teams more then anything.

Yeah, already have Dunkley riding the pine.

Honestly think the coaches will look around and try to use Ryan as the second tall. Wouldn’t be surprised tbh.
This is where we should of kept Taylin Duman and Tobe Watson on the list. Both are 190-192 cm. More like tall flankers but you could get away with playing either of those at centre half back against some sides
