It's one thing to accept we have gaps in our list, need to keep bringing in better players via the draft etc. But when you see yet again the weak culture that allows this sort of sht show to happen, then it might as well be an eighty years as eight before we contend.

If the kind of panic stricken errors and just plain dumb football that we have dished up for 2 decades was easily 'fixable', we would have done so years ago. Unfortunately it seems to be deeply implanted in the DNA of our club, to the point where no one knows how to change this pattern on any consistent level.

Such a hyperbolic quote, this is actually the dna of Essendon supporters. Mentioning players who aren’t playing, blaming their personal whipping boys and now bringing up a decade of football.

In that quarter we coughed the footy up. It was bad, very bad. But it’s not as if every time our players are in that situation that is the result.

Every player can make mistakes, and posters love to post about it, but I’d rather read posts from people analysing the game instead of hyperbolic crap.
