Our list looks weak and deficient due to the nature of the gameplan, which relies heavily on individual effort and brilliance to succeed.Dynasty era Hawthorn's and Richmond's had premiership players in the ilk of Will Langford, Matt Spangher, Jason Castagna, Marlion Pickett etc who all came in and played a role to help the team succeed. Their roles were all interchangeable and it was a next cab off the rank setup where the gameplan did not bend to individuals within it.I can guarantee our 'weak' list would look a hell of a lot stronger if we had a repeatable and feasible gameplan.
