Can our current lineup in defense be able to handle Curnow and Mackay ?
Is Hartigan still on our list?Curnow is far more athletic than McKay, much better at ground level. Frost is the perfect matchup in my opinion, as he has the speed to be able to match him. Unless Hartigan comes in, I don't know who gets McKay. We need to win the midfield battle and limit Carlton's forward 50 entries.
vs McKay?
Frost vs Curnow
Grainger-Barras vs De Koning
Scrimshaw vs Silvagni
Sicily vs Cripps
Doesn't matter, to use the sub you can't play the subbed out player the next weekNo ice on chads legs post-match

Oh right, that must just for concussions? Idk.Definitely not true. Zorko was subbed out last week and played today
He didn't seem to be limping. No ice on chads legs post-match
Tightness. Doesn’t need ice and wouldn’t limp. But if you run too hard you’d have a fair chance of pinging it especially Chads history. He didn't seem to be limping.
A shifty medical sub?
No ice on chads legs post-match
Indeed. If you're aiming for recovery, ice temporarily stops the inflammatory process which means that it slows down recovery. It's still good for taking down swelling or pain mitigation if you want to get someone back on the ground asap, but if the aim is to recover there are better methods. Some new science suggests heat is better. Ice may be on the way out.
Imagine the running power if we had Bramble as the sub.I’m not sure it’s fair on the guy to do it each week, but I love Tommy Phillips as the sub. He gives us so much run and effort when he comes on.
When Phillips comes on he picks up the pace of the game straight away. Some players take five to ten minutes to get going.I’m not sure it’s fair on the guy to do it each week, but I love Tommy Phillips as the sub. He gives us so much run and effort when he comes on.
Now that's a big ask. I doubt we can do that consistently all game. I think our drive has to come from our backline.Cancel out their midfield and you're own you're way to a victory.
