I thought we have gotten a pretty good run with the umps tonight, my eye seeing not too much wrong with it.

There has been a few either way. Can't complain too hard at the moment.

Watching the game, I was surprised to see that we are winning clearances - feels like we are losing it. But I think it's the 2nd touch- we clear it, get it to a man, and then our disposal is very poor.

Scoreline flattering us. We have played their game for 2 quarters and still within reach. If we switch on, we're in with a good shot.

Lyons might be a part of the problem, has been burnt a few times so far. Have noticed Bailey and Rayner haven't been in the middle as much tonight, hopefully those two can get in there a bit more

I really don't feel nervous. I don't think Geelong get 11 more shots at goal for the game and I think we'll get at least 10+ more for the game. If we convert, we will win.

Berry's hurt shoulder holding him back. Imo we should sub him if it's going to effect his stoppage work.

Ltdr but Fullerton really lacks an ability to handball under physical pressure. Not what I remember about him in previous years.

Admittedly Geelong's pressure has been immense. Feel they are all over us at this point in time. Lucky to be so close. Hope we can turn it around/ they can't keep their pressure and run up deep into the game.

It's hard though to get used to the pace when you are playing in the twos. Bad have to get your first game of the season.

That's the life of a half forward flanker.

You would think with the width of the ground it would be easier to defend.
Especially through the middle of the ground l, but we make it look hard.
Defensive 50 is a mess and the forward 50 entries not flash.

We haven't adjusted to the width when we are attaching, so cause a turnover and we are out of position.

A lot of our players aren't involved as we are just throwing the ball on the boot as we are under so much pressure. Where are our players? We are getting out numbered at the contest then again up the ground. Getting beaten badly when the ball hits the deck. Cats get the ball to the outside and they are gone.
