Gotta say, some good questions from the assembled media at that presser.Bulldogs Media | Western Bulldogs

Naughton needs to actually play like someone with 100 plus more games experience, and not let DeKoning own him/bump him out of contests so easily.

They displayed plenty of knowledge of the players on our list and the topical issues around the club.
Given that fairly junior reporters typically attend the press conferences, it offers a start contrast to the blathering commentary and down right ignorance displayed by Dermott Brereton on the weekend.
He looks like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders!Jeez bevo sounds good, sounds like hes having a gebuinly good time coaching the lads at the moment and its really been reflective in the way we’ve been playing
Does any team ever “rest” players at this time of year? Maybe towards the end of the season when ladder position isn’t a consideration. Or if an injured player is being nursed along. It’s not worth taking the risk. It’s also insulting to the opposition.Wonder if. Cats rest some players
Short turnaround time plus interstate trip
Based on the presser, JOD coming in would be a surprise. He is really backing in Buku/Jones and it seems Bailey Williams is to remain in the backline, probably in that undersized 'third tall' role he used to play. Does not want to compromise our transition and pressure out of D50.
All good and well now on a short term basis but it’s not going to work long term. Buku matching up on guys like Cameron, Curnow etc. is going to be a nightmare against the better teams.Based on the presser, JOD coming in would be a surprise. Duryea could replace Poulter as subYeah, seems like Richards for Duryea and keep Williams back there.
Possible. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Poulter goes out and someone from the VFL gets the sub, like Garcia or Harmes.Duryea could replace Poulter as sub
Only if it is JOD with good skills, good mark and a bit of speed. All good and well now on a short term basis but it’s not going to work long term. Buku matching up on guys like Cameron, Curnow etc. is going to be a nightmare against the better teams.
At some point we are going to have to jump to 2 KPD with Buku as the third tall.
Right, we should smash ‘emRest/Managed - Geelong seem to do it and don't wait till late in the season. Pretty sure I was told Tuohy and Stanley were rested/managed the game just past vs Hawthorn
But I agree with you
Cats rested Stanley and Tuohy last week so doubt itWonder if. Cats rest some players
